Percy's POV

"All I'm saying is that we don't need walkie talkies if we have phones," Piper elaborated. 

Leo pouted. "But it seems more Hollywood movie like."

Hazel rubbed her temples with her fingers. "Guys, does this even matter? We should be discussing the success rate of this plan Percy has. Does no one question it?"

Piper shrugged. "Better than nothing."

"Walkie talkies do matter!" Leo exclaimed. "If we can't communicate if we don't have them."

"Phones, Leo," Piper emphasized.

Leo rolled his eyes. "Yeah whatever. BORING."

I felt someone slap my back and I turned to see Jason, eyes filled with worry. 

"You sure about this man?" 

I nodded. "If Annabeth is suffering, I want to help. I can't just stand here doing nothing if we have a suspicion."

Jason sighed. "Okay, if you're sure."
