The long game of trying to save her sanity gone ended. Aira was attacking everyone. Bodies were falling into the ground lifeless. The royalties couldn't her because up until that moment the army haven't arrived yet.
"Damn it. What's taking them so long?" Rhyan cussed under his heavy breathes. He was about attack a summoner with his dagger when he fell into his knees so instead he grabbed its legs forced him to fall.
Agad niyang pinaibabawan ito at saka mabilis na itinarak ang patalim bago bumangon at agad na napamura nang bumungad sa kaniya ang espada ni Aira kaya mabilis itong napaupong muli upang iwasan iyon.
He wasn't shocked by the sudden attack. Aira's eyes were all white, her pupils were disappearing. She's definitely not herself.
Her body couldn't cope up with the power she has. They fighting over with rage and she couldn't control it.
"Aira! Wake up! Shit." agad na tumayo si Rhyan at sinalubong ang espada nito gamit ang kaniyang dagger ngunit halos mapaatras ito dahil sa malakas na puwersa mula sa espada nito. Her sword is covered with white and black flames furiously burning each other.
Rhyan broke their contact with a huge force pushing his dagger against her sword causing her sword to be thrown away. She immediately run into her while throwing balls of lightnings to the summoners trying to get close to them. Ngunit hindi niya napansin ang pagtapon sa kaniya ng atake ni Aira dahilan upang tumalsik ito palayo.
Agad na nakuha ang pansin ng iba pa nang makita ang nanyari at halos sabay sabay itong napamura ng makita ang sitwasyon ni Aira.
"She needs to come back to her senses. Mas mahihirapan tayo sa ganiyang sitwasyon niya." saad ni Maia na ngayon ay siyang tumatanggap sa mga ibinabatong atake ni Alexis samantalang abala ang iba sa pakikipaglaban sa nagkalat na mga summoner.
"Can somebody seize her?" sigaw pa nito kaya agad namang tumango si Nathan at agad ni pinatumba ang kalaban nito bago mabilis na tumakbo patungo kay Aira at saka binalot ito ng yelo na umabot hanggang sa kalahati ng katawan nito. Sapat para hindi ito makagalaw.
Nasa ganoon silang sitwasyon nang biglang dumagundong ang nakakakilabot na tawa.
"I see you there." saad nito sa nakakakilabot na boses. Ramdam ng bawat-isa ang pagdaan nang kakaibang kilabot sa kanilang katawan at ang pagtatayuan ng kanilang mga balahibo dahil sa lalim ng boses nito. Its eyes were intently looking at the girl stuck on ice.
"That's not Alexis' voice." bulong pa ni Au mula sa kaniyang kinatatayuan.
In an instant Alexis' possessed body was already in front of Aira's frozen body. Everyone immediately panicked and rushed at their direction but the crimson red flames immediately blocked them. Everyone was cussing beneath their heavy breaths. Their hearts felt like it is beating the hell out of them.
The heat coming from the fire radiated furiously causing the ice around Aira's body to melt. Just by then arrows started raining in the sky. Au was fast enough to cover themselves with a barrier made out of earth.
"They're here." anunsiyo ng mga ito. Mula sa itaas ay nagsimulang magbabaan ang mga ito at agad na kumasa sa laban. Sa kabila nang pagdating ng mga kaalyado ay hindi doon natanggal ang kaba nang bawat isa. Agad na nawala ang ginawang harang nang matapos ang pagpapaulan ng mga palaso.
They have no idea on how to solve their real problem. Everyone was just hoping that Jay would come back with the necklace.
Jay had always been a strong and keen fighter. He can't use his eyes all of the time during battles so he have to fight bare but everyone knows how his combat skills is deadly. Kaya nitong makipagsabayan sa kanila kahit pa hindi ito gumagamit nang kahit na anong kapangyarihan. Violet can never manipulate him. At least they believe in that.
But that hope they had started to quiver when one of the winged horses landed beside them. Lulan noon si Welton na ngayon ay pasan pasan ang katawan ni Jay.
He's badly injured. His clothes were teared and is now painted in crimson red. His wounds were bleeding too much and he's almost losing consciousness. He eyes were droopy but he's trying his best to keep himself awake holding on not to fall to depths of the darkness trying to pull him.
"What happened to him?" Au voiced out but Welton refused to answer. Even him himself doesn't know what really happened.
"Bakit dinala mo pa siya dito? Look at him. He needs to be tended. Where are the healers?" aligaga pang sabi ni Maia na ngayon ay nagpapalinga linga na. She saw the healers starting to heal their injured alliances. She was cursing Welton in her head, she's been giving him death glares while Welton has been trying his best not to meet Maia's eyes or he'd be dead.
"I was about to! but he said he need to see Aira." agad na depensa nito. Sinenyasan nito ang isa sa mga kasama nilang healer at agad iyong lumapit sa kanila.
"The necklace. Where's the Thartanus?" sa halip ay tanong ni Rhyan at agad na hinawakan sa magkabilang balikat si Jay. Nagsimula namang umiling si Jay. Agad na lumipat ang magkabilang kamay nitong nakahawak sa balikat at kwinelyuhan ito.
Tinignan niya ito ng mariin samantalang halos walang buhay itong sinuklian ng tingin ng huli. Punong puno ng pagsisi ang nakapintang emosyon sa mukha nito.
"Anong ibig mong sabihin?" saad pa nito halos mabasag ang boses nito marahil dahil sa pagkadismaya at panggigil. Nais pigilan ng iba si Rhyan ngunit lahat ito ay natulo sa kinatatayuan at naghihintay ng magiging sagot nito.
They didn't mind the battle going on around them. Welton was covering them up and there were enough people in the battlefield.
"I d-destroyed the necklace." he answered in a weak voice. Halos bumagsak sa panghihina ang iba at napaawang na lamang ang kanilang mga labi.
Rhyan was fast enough to land his fist to Jay. The latter's body fell into the ground. He was coughing blood but he felt like he had no right to complain. He deserved it. Welton saw what happened. Agad niyang dinaluha ang nakahandusay na katawan ni Jay at inilahad iyon sa healer. Tuluyan na itong nawalan nang malay.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" napasabunot na lamang ito sa kaniyang buhok.
While Aira and Alexis is still inside the wall made out of hellfire. Both were out of their minds. One possessed by a demon the other overcome by her power. They were staring face to face gone were the longing and love it had before. Her white eyes met her black orbs.
"I see you're not yourself." a smirk was painted in Alexis' possessed body. At a split second she was already gripping Aira's neck while the latter was blankly staring at her.
"Siguro dapat patayin na kita ngayon." saad pa nito at mas hinigpitan ang pagkakasakal. Wala man lang nagbago sa blankong ekspresyon nang huli sa isang iglap ay hawak na nito ang kaniyang espada at mabilis iyong itinarak sa tiyan nito na siyang nginisian nito.
"You'll regret doing that." it said before moving closer causing the sword to thrust deeper on her stomach. She did that without removing her grip on Aira's neck.
"That won't kill me though." it said before switching her grip from Aira's neck to the blade of the sword while trying to remove it from her stomach causing her hands to bleed.
It started licking her blood off her hands before clenching it into a fist and then red flames started to burn around it. It was about to give a punch when its body was thrown away by a strong force.
Nang mahawi ang usok na nagkalat ay bumungad doon ang nakatayo nitong katawan. Wala man lamang sakit na nakapinta sa mukha nito sa kabila nang nagdudugong sugat sa kaniyang tiyan.
The royalties immediately looked back and saw someone behind Aira.
