Nakabusangot akong naglakad paalis ng ng kwarto. Di na ko nagpalit at nakapantulog pa rin ako. I wore a white hoodie and a cap to hide my messy hair.
Tamad na tamad akong naglakad sa hallway. Ilang building pa ang tinawid ko bago makarating sa main building. The headmistress summoned me to the office according to a random student who knocked to our dorm. I entered the office with grimace but my expression was entirely wiped off by the sight of a girl sitting in the couch. I stood froze in my position.
The scene from my first day flashed in the back of my head. So I wasn't just hallucinating when I saw someone exactly looking like me.
"Anak, hindi ka na naman nag-ayos, mukha kang taong-gubat." bulong sakin ni mama kaya naman napabalik ako sa realidad. Hindi ko pinansin ang kumento nito sa itsura ko sa halip ay nagmamadali akong lumapit sa babae.
Umupo ako sa harapan nito haban nakatuon ang tingin sa kaniya. My gaze was fixed in her eyes. Her pupils were the color of ivory, they were white.
"I'm Alexis Gale, your twin sister." pakilala nito. I suddenly felt uneasy, I felt a strange jolt in my chest. I shifted from my seat and bit my lips. I was only able to calm down when she gave me a smile before rushing to my side and trapping me into her embrace.
My heart started racing like crazy. I was frozen and I can only close my eyes as I submit my self into the overwhelming feeling. I never realized I've been longing for family until now.
"I missed you."
Nang kumawala ito sa yakap ay saka lamang ako nagmulat. Instead of going back to her seat in front of me she sat beside me.
" We're going to Auris this weekend, I'm finally bringing you home. The palace has been missing your presence. " she said with her honeyed voice enough to infect me. Napangiti ako dahil dito. Napabaling ako kay Mama nang umupo siya sa katapat naming upuan kung saan nakaupo kanina si Alexis.
"As promised I am going to introduce you to family." saad nito at bumaling kay Alexis.
"But I have something else to tell you. Your power is awakened. Ibig sabihin kailangan mong mag-ensayo upang kontrolin iyon. I am putting you to intensive training the whole week." paliwanag pa ni mama. And that's when my hell week started.
"Focus!"
Hawak ko ang pana gamit ang kaliwang kamay at dumukot ng palaso. Kagat labi naman akong muling bumatak at itinapat ang palaso sa marka. Nanginig pa ang kanang braso ko dahil sa pagkakabatak ko dito. I've doing this for quite a while now and my arms are already giving up on me. The moment I released the arrow my arms dropped with the bow.
Nang makitang tumama ang palaso ay napaupo na lamang ako. I feel hot. I can feel my body covered with sweat but I am too exhausted to even care about that. My arms felt like they were about to detach from my body. I never thought archery could be this exhausting.
"Here." nag-angat lamang ako nang tingin ng humarang sa paningin ko ang isang bote ng tubig. I traced the owner of the pale white hands. I forced a smile before accepting the bottle of water.
"Thanks." I muttered under my breath.
I've been undergoing under an intensive training after my power has woke up. Parang gusto ko na lang sumpain ang araw na nagising ang kapangyarihan ko dahil doon nagsimula ang pahirap sa akin.
