When it was Monday morning, I was energized and happy to actually be out of bed. Even tho it felt awesome to just get food in bed sometimes or not have to do any chores, my body hurt and so did my throat along with me coughing and sneezing...

Right as Joseph and I walked out of our building, we saw Idaly and Axel coming our way, making me smile a little.

For the first time in forever, I actually feel happy to go to school with someone other than Joseph.

"Oh hey guys!" Axel greeted with a smile on his face.

"Hey Y/N, hey Joseph!" Idaly called to us.

Joseph stayed panicked a little than stayed silent as he gave a small wave as I did as well.

"Yo Joseph, want to race to school?" Idaly asked Joseph while taking a glance at Axel and I for approval.

"S-Sure," Joseph accepted as he actually gave a smile to her.

At the end of 1, they not started running, Idaly being a bit faster than Joseph.

I chuckled softly to myself and smiled as I saw their figures soon going away.

"I guess Idaly was too excited to see Joseph."

"Why?"

"I think she wants to find someone who would like to play soccer and video games with her. I see Joseph is as well..."

My lips curved into a smile and I sighed. "We do as well have things in common," I stated. "Like not having parents anymore."

"Having a younger sibling in middle school." He said with a smile.

"Same favorite colors."

"Working..."

"Busy all the time?"

We both looked at each other and laughed as we started walking.

I never had someone who I can relate so much to...

We both walked in silence as I decided to break the ice.

"If you don't mind me asking, are your parents um..."

"It's alright, you don't have to be afraid to ask..." He said sighing. "They're dead..."

I looked it the left awkwardly and scratched the back of my neck.

I know dad is dead but...

I'm pretty sure that woman is still alive... I'll just lie and tell him both of them are dead as well.

"M-Mine are dead as well," I said avoiding eye contact. "My dad and m-..."

I couldn't say IT for some weird reason... I just didn't felt right.

"Your..-

"M-My parents died in a car crash," I said simply as I could see from the corner of my eye as he looked at every move I made.

I-I feel like he's suspicious of me...

He wouldn't believe me if I said that my mom was nice all the time before my dad died. Afterwards, she just left me saying how stupid I was and that I was useless for everything...

Ivy didn't believe me apparently. She though I was crazy and thought I was a bad kid and that's why dad got in a car crash while mom hated me for making him crash...

"Ah, my parents got in a car crash as well."

I took a glance at him from the corner of my eyes, not daring to turn my head. The hint in his eyes told me he missed them dearly.

I averted my eyes to the front as I gripped the strap of my F/C backpack.

I hated lying and felt guilty for it. Ivy could tell I was lying since I avoided eye contact too much and I kinda stuttered...

...Luckily Axel doesn't know me too well and can't tell if I'm lying or not.

When we reached school, three Juniors, the same one who was bullying Axel, came and sniggered at the sight of the two of us.

"Pfft, now you need a girl to protect you Axel?-

"You got a girlfriend? Dang, I guess you're not half looking-

"Did you do our homework?-

"U-Uh....-

I stepped in front of Axel and sighed at the three Juniors who stopped sniggering and faced me instead.

I casually put on my straight and cold face and and then stared at them, not averting my eyes somewhere else.

"What do you idiots want this time?"

"You called us idiots?! How dare you!-

"Bruh calm down!"

My heart was beating so fast. I was scared but instead stood my ground and breathed in and out.

"Look, if you won't stop bothering Axel, then I will tell Principal Chad," I said the obvious.

They burst out laughing while I gulped a little and held tighter the strap of my backpack.

"So what? We know where poor Axel lives."

"Kinda knew you were going to say that. So, I will soon call Mrs. Greens, Ms. Barns, and Ms. Heavens. I work in their building and would delightfully tell them that's their precious sons were bullying people and tell the boss that they are slacking off... Wouldn't that be lovely?" I asked with an innocent smile.

The looks on their faces were unexplainable and would burst out laughing but kept my cool.

"H-H-H-

"I work in their building dumbhead. Now, if you don't answer I'm 5 seconds, I can call my their managers and my boss to fire th-

"ALRIGHT ALRIGHT WE'LL STOP!"

They ran off afterwards and I lost my cool. I farted down on the school grounds and starting breathing out loud.

Axel came in front of me and he handed me a water bottle.

"H-Hey are you alright?! You really didn't have to do that you know..." Axel said filled with worried.

"I hate bullying... I would hate to see you being bullied everyday... Anyways, think it as a selfish reason," I said as a final and got from the ground as Axel followed me.

"If you don't mind me asking, how did you-

"How did I know the names of their mothers and they worked until the same building?"

He nodded slowly, amazed at my work.

"Teacher wanted me to run some errands and came across their names..."

The first bell rang to indicate that homeroom was soon starting.

"By the way, do you have lunch #2?" Axel asked.

I nodded my head as he smiled. "Alright, I'll catch you later on lunch then!"

I saw him walking to the school area as I stayed behind, walking slowly to homeroom.

I'll just sign in and go to the bathroom to play some games...
