Out of the bathroom stall came out...

Aphmau.

My face flushed red as tears dried to my face.

"W-What the heck?! How long were you in there?"

"Long enough to hear that you want someone to rely on..."

I averted my eyes awkwardly as we both stood there, not saying a word.

She made the first movement of washing her hands.

"Y/N you know we could-

"Aphmau..." I started. "The less people I am friends with, the less people I have to deal with.

Especially since they end up leaving me...

"But-

"T-The past is the past. Get over it. I told you I never wanted to be your friend in the first place. D-Don't force it. Nothing good will come out of it," I said coldly and calmly and I faced the stalls.

Geez... She's so much different then Ivy... Which is good, but could still end up bad.

"Let me-

"No."

"Please-

"N-No."

"Y/N!"

I faced her way and could see an interrogating look on her face.

I sighed quietly to myself. "Why are you even trying? I already gave an answer to your question."

"I feel like you're lying to my face. You're stuttering here and here!"

"I'm not... Lying. I-I just feel uncomfortable."

Please end this quietly... Axel is my friend and will be my friend that will leave me if I tell him the truth. I'm just helping him solve a situation and I did! Why am I still his friend?...

Aphmau looked at me with brave, fierce eyes while I just stared someone else, a sweat tear running down my face.

"I may not be the most favorable person you will ever meet but, I saw kind and generous sides of you that I did not mistake of. The day you defended me when Ivy was annoying me and when you tried to talk to the Senior guy about not being mean to me. I really appreciate that and I owe you BIG time. So, I want to do you a favor... will you please go to my sleepover I'm hosting this Saturday?"

She handed me a card with the info and everything.

"Aphmau I-

"Just think of this as me doing a favor for you and not forcing you. Please."

I faced her one more time and saw the same brave and fierce eyes.

She's... Really something.

The bell rang just in time. Aphmau waved a small wave and mounted bye, as she exited the bathroom.

That's not really necessary since we have Art Class together but, whatever...

I sighed and leaned against the wall I was in.

"Pick between those geeks or me," Ivy said intimidatingly.

"B-But w-why?!"

She slammed a hand on the locker next to me to stop me from escaping her.

"Look, it's not that simple as you might think so. No one wants to hang out with them. NO ONE likes them. So, no one would hang out with you."

"They're nice tho..."

"They are annoying and arrogant since why're smart."

"T-They aren't annoying or arrogant! They're actually pretty fun! They showed me new board games and computer games!"

This time, Ivy slammed both hands on both opposite lockers.

"Look, it's either them or ME. After all I have done for you? Is this how you are going to repay me? By being friends with those idiots?"

"N-No Ivy I'm sorry... I won't be their friends..."

She had every secret that I knew and she would blackmail me...

Her mood changed quickly and she smiled brightly. "Good!~ Let's go to Minebucks!"
