"Found it!!" Roxie grabbed the clipboard from her friends hands before turning her attention back to the pile of paperwork that sat on the counter "Finally." She said bluntly and she turned her tired eye sockets back to the paper work, she ruffeled some papers here and there and grabbed a pen from her pocket.

"Your welcome." Amy grumbled disapprovingly, Nicholas, along with Amy, Loppody, Annie and Thea had all offered to come and help Roxie at work, her gratitude towards that was less then very thankful. Roxie hummed as she flicked over countless pages of paper work, her friends all too a seat at the bar beside her.

Nicholas couldn't help but give s look of worry over at Roxie, the dark shades under her eye sockets and her usual neatly tucked in shirt that now look messy and un-ironed made him a little concerned for her. "Hey Roxie, why don't we take a break from work and go do something together?" He held his arms out slightly to exaggerate his point.

"Maybe latter guys." Roxie didn't even take a glance towards them as she spoke. "We could go the the skate park." Amy suggested, smiling at the thought as the others gave looks that said that they agreed "We could even-" "Maybe later guys." Roxie said a little more quickly as she scribbled down on some of the papers.

"Oh hey!! The towns baker is revealing his latest creation this afternoon!! Everyone is going to be their, maybe we-" "Maybe...LATER...guys." Thea and the others all saddened, Roxie didn't take notice of this and moved some papers aside while pulled more out from a draw behind her.

"Oh...well....um.." Annie shrugged and gave a hopeful smile "We could always go to the waterfall in the forest or something...." Loppody smiled and held her cane in her hand while looking over at Roxie "You like it there right Roxie?" When they got no answer they all looked over at Roxie, her head was low and a hand was pressed to her forehead in irratation. "Um...Roxie?"

Roxie slammed her hands on the counter in annoyance and snapped her head to her friends, they jolted in their seats as a few loose papers fell to the floor

"MAYBE LATER GUYS!!! Did I nail it that time, or should we try for take FIVE?!" She turned her head back to the papers in front of her, huffing in annoyance and scribbling her signature in assigned places. Her friends all stared in shock at her sudden mood swing, Nicholas lifted a hand and went so speak, but he found himself retracting his hand to his side.

He looked down at his other friends that looked just as hurt and surprised as he did, he sighed quietly and slowly walked out of the door. The door closed with a small click, leaving Roxie alone. Roxie moved some papers aside as she pulled some more out and began to scribble ink over the paper.

The ticking of the clock made he room sound desolate and silent, as Roxie repeated the endless cycle of writing the taking another piece of paper and writing again. As she continued to write she couldn't help but feel herself beginning to slow down as she had only just taken in that she had yelled at her best friends.

Her hand dropped to the counter, now refusing to write "Did....D-Did I just?" Roxie stood from her chair and turned to where her friends had been seated "Guys I-" she sighed when she found that her friends had already left, she sighed and slowly sat herself back down in her chair, and went back to her work in silence, it would be silent for the whole time.

~time skip~

Roxie's tiredness had gotten the better of her and she had fallen asleep on the pile of papers she still had yet to complete, her soft snoring filled the empty cafe, the ticking of the clock ringing inside the empty walls of her skull.

The past few days had been a traumatic 48 hours of paperwork nightmare and through that time sleep hadn't been an option for Roxie, it was a nice feeling of relief to finally be able to sleep a little. "H-Huh?" Roxie sat up in her chair, she looked down to see a dark blue blanket, that had just been dropped over her, fall to the floor.

She lifted her head upwards, her friends all standing behind her with soft smiles. Roxie sat their for approximately 3 seconds before she lunged forward, grasping her friends in a hug "OMG GUYS!! I-I'm so sorry!!" She grabbed Nicholas's shoulders and pulled away so that she could look him in the eyes.

"I-I'm sorry!! It's just that- I-I didn't-" Nicholas placed a hand on her mouth, silencing her stuttered answers. "Hey, Hey...Its okay, the work stress is getting to you, we understand." Roxie found no cold glare or sour looks from any of her friends and couldn't help but tear up a little at the fact they had all forgiven her so quickly.

"Yeah!! We'll be okay Rox!!" Amy playfully punched Roxie's shoulder to emphasise her point, "you need to start worrying about you!!" Roxie wiped a hand at her eye sockets, getting rid of the small stray tears that had escaped and had fallen down her cheek bones.

"The same way we all care about you." Thea offered a warm smile along with the others who nodded in agreement. "Why did you guys come back!!" Roxie said louder then she should have "You guys to a heck of a lot for me!! And all I do is give grief!!" She hung her head in shame, not wanting to loom her friends in the eyes.

"Roxie. Look at us." Roxie slowly lifted her head, she hadn't even properly sat up before her friends all ploughed into her at once, knocking her out of her chair and onto the floor. Roxie blinked and propped herself upwards with her elbows, looking down at her friends that were hugging her like koala bears.

"Don't you ever say that again." Roxie blinked, still confused "Your like our mega big sister!!! We could never hate you!!" Amy said truthfully as ever hummed in agreement. "Guys...." Roxie sat herself up properly "You've taught us tones of things Roxie!!! You're are mega big sis!!!"

Annie squeaked, the biggest smile on her face

"We love you Roxie!!"

They all said in unison, Roxie buckled lightly and tried her hardest to wrap her own arms around her friends "Aww!! I love you too guys!!" They all hugged it out there on the floor. "Ahem...Well um, that happened." Amy said with slight embarrassment as she got to her feet "Hehe..yeah."

Nicholas helped Roxie to her feet "Well, not that all the dramas out of the way, I suppose you want to rest your work done." "We understand that you wanna get it all done!!" Loppody said as she started to walk to the door with the others. Roxie hummed and looked down at the paperwork that remained on her desk.

"Actually-" she walked over to her friends, earning both surprised and happy looks from them as Roxie turned the door handle "Maybe later guys."
