Shadow was polishing her armour, she had no training today, today was her day off. Instead of relaxing, like most people would do, she decided that it would be more sensible to clean her armour before the guard got back to work again the next day.
She was currently in her human form, although claws and a dragon body were easier to use when in combat training, having hands was easier to clean metal then claws.
She reached over to the bowl of warm soapy water and lightly dipped her cloth in it, before turning back to her armour to-
KNOCK KNOCK
"Come in." Shadow didn't lift her gaze to the door as it opened
"Hello Shadow!!!!"
Shadow turned to the person, or more accurately angle, who had come skipping into the room "Ah, Konami." She said "What brings you here?"
Konami shoved a wooden tray of food to Shadow, slopping some coffee from the mug that sat next to a plate of toast and a fried egg "You've been in here for ages silly, I can't have you going on an empty stomach all day!!"
