James swept a broom across the floor of the cafe, his friend Rubix had helped him earlier that morning so the majority of the work had already been done, he just had to sweep a little here and there and then it would be done. His friend Rubix had gone with Charlotte and Quintin to go and buy some new biscuits for the tin, wonder where those had gone to?

Charlotte most likely James thought. He gave a sigh as he leaned against the bar, he had just remembered that he had made himself a cup of tea before hand and if he didn't drink it now it would be disgustingly cold.

"A small break wouldn't hurt." He said with a smile, he sat himself on one of the bar stools, forgetting about the broom and leaving it to lean against the bar. He picked up his tea with a content sigh.

BANG

"JAMES!!!"

James tea cup went flying, he shuddered at the sound of breaking china hitting the floor, he sighed at the broken tea cup that laid scattered across the floor. "Not again." He hung his head as he bent down to pick up the small pieces, being careful not to rip any of his clothing.

"Jaaaaaames!!!" James mentally sighed at the all to familiar feminine voice. He lifted his head, a flat look on his face "Afternoon Jewel." He greeted bluntly as he finished picking up the broken china, discarding it in the bin as he turned back to Jewel.

"WHA?!" The place where James's nose should have been very nearly brushed against Jewels, who was standing far too close for his liking. "Can I ask a favour?" She was unfazed at how shocked James looked, he slowly and clumsily moved his way away from her, trying to regain control of his posture.

"Y-You want..my help?" He questioned with a raised brow. Usually Jewel would always be running off to her cousin Nicholas or her brother for help, it was only on the one or two rare occasions that she would stop and ask for help from him.

.....and half the time they were merely simple problems that didn't need more then a second thought to solve.

"Mhmm!!!" She nodded eagerly, the feathers on her wings seeming to fluff up. James hummed, it wasn't as if he had anything else to do with his afternoon, and even if he said no the chances of Jewel leaving him be were very low, knowing her she would bug the hell out of him until he agreed.

"Alright." He answered simply "What is it you need?"

"Well, you've got a big sis riiight?" James took a step back a little, in response she took a bold step forward "Correct."

"Aaaand, you know what it's like to have to deal with them? Riiiiiight?" James took another step back "...um, yes?" He was unsure of his answer as he backed into the wall. Jewel fluttered up so that she was level with him, James awkwardly began to sweat.

After a length pause Jewel blurted out "What do you do when they're in love?"

James blinked, "I...pardon?" Jewel rolled over in the air, before landing on the ground, "When they're in love!! You know? Roses and dates, fancy and expensive food and then a kiss under the stars and a full moon?" James sighed and waved his hands at her "Y-Yes yes, I know what love is!!"

He looked down at her, a look of genuine confusion on his face "But why in the world would you come to me of all people?" Jewel stood up and skipped her way over to him "Well, you've got a big sis!! I've got a big bro!! You can relate to me in this situation!!!"

She pressed her face against his "So what do you do?" James couldn't help but shake, Jewel was practically leaning on him. He shakily pushed her away, "W-Well..." he stumbled over his own words "Why do you ask anyway?" He tilted his head as he walked back over to the bar "Does Remmi have his eyes on someone?"
