Vivi left her book on the table at the sound of the front door opening, she walked her way into the hallway, "Hello Quitin!! How was-" Vivi saw the look of pure fright on his face, even though he looked like that most of the time, this time seemed, different.

"Quintin?" Vivi placed a hand on his arm "Are you oka!!-" Vivi stopped mid sentence when she caught sight of her daughter "Amy!! What happened to your eye?!" Vivi stared in shock at her daughters swollen eye as she walking in through the door. The skeleton girl gave an exasperated sigh as she placed her bag on the floor, then paused for a moment as she tried to find her words.

"Oh, we were just playing catch and one other kids ended up punching me on accident." She lied, avoiding her mothers gaze. Vivi watched as she walked to the kitchen "Are you sure?..." she looked at the bruise on the side of her face and how it had started to turn mixed shades of purple and blue.

Amy closed the cupboard when she found nothing to her liking "Yeah, I'm fine." She lied again, quickly making her way out of the kitchen, her head facing the floor. Vivi looked over at Quintin who mimicked her and looked at her. Quintin sighed and walked up to his room, his arms folded and shoulders tense.

Vivi walked into the living room, her daughter was sitting on the couch scrolling through the different channels on the television, she blinked as she continued though the show list.

Her mothers eyes hardened "Amy." She said "Look at me." Amy turned her head to her. "You know that I love you. You're the most precious thing I could own. And I know that, as a family, there is nothing we can't overcome. But if you want to insult me by lying to my face-" she sighed, "I'd rather you didn't speak to me at all."

Amy blinked, surprised by her mothers sudden change of mood. A show of anger, shock and hurt mirrored her own emotions. She sighed, rising from the couch, her mother quickly saw that she had hurt her feelings and reached a fumbling hand after her.

"Amy wait-" Amy shoved her mothers hand away from her shoulder, she groaned. Giving her mother a glance through the corner of her eye before she turned on her heel and walked her way up the stairs to her room.

"Fine."

Lewis pasted her as she trudged her way up the stairs "Hey sweetie, how was-" Amy walked blankly passed him, not even passing him a glance as she turned down the corridor and slammed her bedroom door shut. Lewis rose a bone brow at her behaviour, he didn't have to think twice to know that something was probably wrong.

He walked down the stairs, "Vivi?..Vivi?" Lewis found her sitting on the living room couch, her head in her hands and her blue hair falling in front of her slightly. Lewis walked over to her and carefully sat on the couch besides her. "Did you and Amy have a fight?" He asked cautiously.

Vivi sighed and lifted her head out of her hands "I don't know, she just came home and her eye was all..swollen!! She says that it was just her friends playing around." Lewis placed one of his overly large hands on her shoulder "Amy is a stubborn one." Lewis chuckled lightly "Im sure that she'll come round and talk to us when she's ready."

Vivi groaned slightly and rested her head on his shoulder "Did you try speaking to Quintin?" Vivi shook her head "No, he went off to his room before I had the chance. The poor thing looked really shaken." Lewis hummed, maybe he knew something "Maybe we could try talking to him?"

"I don't know LuLu, maybe we should wait till Arthur gets back, Quintin will feel more comfortable with him anyway." Lewis hummed, he didn't like it when there daughter would hide stuff from the two of them like this.

"Hey guys!! I'm back!!" Arthur yelled as he came back from work, he was gone for the majority of the day since he opened up his own mechanic shop. "Guys?" He questioned when he didn't get a response "Where are y-" he saw Lewis and Vivi on the couch.

"Something happen?" He asked as he walked over and sat on the opposite side of Vivi "Something happened at school." Lewis answered, his wife giving a small nod "Oh dear.." Arthur leaned forward in an attempt to make eye contact with Vivi "Do you know what happened?"

"No." Lewis said with a small sigh "She's gone to her room, we think Any just needs some time to cool down." Arthur hummed, it was only now that he had noticed that his son wasn't anywhere to be seen "Where's Quintin?"

"Up in his room, I didn't get the chance to ask him what happened." Arthur and Lewis both gave a glance down at Vivi, she did look very distressed and sad that her daughter wasn't talking to them. Lewis placed both his hands on her shoulders "How about this? We leave her be for now, and if she doesn't come to talk to us in an hour, thenll I go talk to her? Hmm?"

Vivi sat there for a moment, thinking he thought over. "Okay."
