"EGAD!! Thea!! This beverage known as coffee is simply fantastic!! It sets my fingers tingling and energy a flame!!"

Thea lifted her head from her sewing and looked towards her close friend, and not so secret boyfriend, Prince Nicholas. Future ruler to Halloween, guardian of spooks and scares and son to Jack skellington and Sally stood by the door with messy hair and an insane grin.

Dropping her head into the fabrics on her desk she sighed before looking back up at her lover "I did suggest that you stick with tea Nicky..."

"Bolderdash!! We found the chefs culinarily skills in that fluid lacking!!"

"But...im the one who makes the t-"

"Lacking I tell you!!!"

Stuttering a bit Nicholas took a quick sip from his coffee before twitching his head to the window "Thine friend Rosalyn happily make me a cup of this delightful beverage!!" He took another gulp of his coffee and giggeled a little

Thea rose an eyebrow "And...how many cups have you had?"

Twitching his gaze back over to his girlfriend Nicholas smiled "I have no idea, I lost count over the 17th."

Thea lowered her head to her desk again and held back a groan, she had once again been thrown into what would turn out to be a very chaotic situation, for the third time this week....

"Well Nicholas, maybe you s-" He was gone, Thea gave out a long sigh "Oh for goodness sake." Where would he go? What would he do? It didn't take long for her to find out, the distant giggling and laughing from down the hallway soon came to her ears.

With a shake of her head she walked out of her room down the hallway.

Upon coming towards the stairs, she forced a straight face and bite her lip, if it wasn't for the stair railings she was currently holding on to she would have toppled over laughing.

Her mothers pet pig Chuy and her pet goat Pumpkin, were both tied to the chandelier that hung from the roof of the room. Thea shook her head, calming herself before looking up to her precious pet "Um....Did Nicholas pass through here?"

The pig and goat gave unamused looks down at her before they both pointed one of there front hooves down towards  the end of the hallway, Thea turned towards it only to see her cackling, laughing red haired boyfriend disappear out of sight.

Thea rubbed the skin between her eyes "Thank you..." she mumbled tiredly before quickening her pace down the hallway and rushing after Nicholas. Once again she found herself thrown into madness as chasing Nicholas was like trying to find the end of a circle.

The only sign of his passing through different rooms was the lack of fabric casing on the pillows and the lack of blankets.

Thea leaned against the wall to catch her breath as Nicholas ran out of sight, again. Thea gave a weary sigh of exhaustion and ran after him, once she reached the room that he had disappeared into her jaw hung open at what she saw.

How he had done it so quickly she didn't know

In the middle of the kitchen table sat a large pile of pillow casings and blankets and on top of that, dangerously balancing was the family foot rest were Nicholas had chosen to lounge, a large Cheshire cat grin on his face.

"What?"

"Greetings dear sweetheart!!! I have found a marvellous use for the fabrics in your home!!"

"Nicky." Thea rubbed her temples "You took all the pillow casings and blankets in my home."

"And is not Halloween themed fabrics appropriate for Halloween? We should use it as to not offend my people!!" He threw a beautifully knitted flower blanket out the window "Tis only sensible."

"It's December...." Thea said, completely deadpan. "And also-...oh nevermind..." Thea let out a long breath before raising her hand and trying again "Nicky, you are sitting on a large pile of fabrics while sitting on a dangerously balanced foot stool. Would you mind explaining yourself?.....Nicky are you listening?"

Nicholas pulled his head out of the mountain of cloth, a blanket hallway covering his face "Pardon?"

"Why?..." Nicholas sat in considerable thought before he rose and stood upon the foot rest, gesturing wildly with his hands as he spoke "Why my dear, you have asked us such a simple question that most children and even Loppody would have no trouble answering!!"

Nicholas scurried to the edge of the pile of rose a hand in preparation for speaking "I am fully aware of my dearests love for dress making upon many other talents with sewing!!! We believe that you should be able to work with the finest of silks!!"

"Nicky, we went over this less then a week ago. Not to mention that the 'finest of silks' you have collected are just pillow cases and blankets."

"Secondly-" Nicholas went to walk forward, misjudging his footing on the felts and gravity took its toll on the prince. He fell face first into the fabric before he slowly slipped down to the floor, stopping perfectly in front of his lover.

"Secondly-" he struggled to his feet, wobbling to regain his valence "Secondly!! I have noticed that it has been ages since me and you have have shared quality love time together!!! It had been more then 12 hours since we last kissed!! 12!!!!"

Thea gave another sigh "Nicky I have work to do, I can't spend every minute with you of each day."

"Nonsense!! I demand this very instant that thou stops her work promptly and spend time with me!! By order or my rule of princess!!"

"Prince..."

"What I said."

Thea slapped a hand to her head with a groan, she blinked and took a few steps backwards before squinting up at Nicholas

"Tis an insult to our relationship!!! An insult I shall no longer stand for!! GUA-"

Nicholas stopped talking abruptly when Thea coughed to gain his attention. "Nicky." She lowered her hand to her side "One, there are no guards in my home, secondly, do you remember the booked table at the restaurant in town for this exact reason? Because I do, as a matter of fact we need to get there 2 hours from now."

"Restaurant? Thea why did you not tell me of this wondrous news?!"

Thea gave a long and hard sigh, wishing she had the comfort of her desk to rest her head "I have no idea myself..."

"Well what are we waiting for?! Come my dear let us prepare for this momentous occasion!!" He tottered out of the room, leaving Thea staring at the mess he had left.

"Um...Nicky. Maybe you should wait for the coffee to wear off first.." she made her way to the pile and folded a blanket "We don't want you to-"

THUD

Thea turned her head to Nicholas who was sprawled out on the floor, his coffee spilt and his legs and arms twitching at random moments

"...crash..."
