Day 89

I've been having a pretty okay few days. Nalin and I have become a bit closer but he still seems to be hiding something from me though. I'm guessing he's just a private person and prefers to not let a lot of people in. That's fine with me. After all,I shouldn't really pry into someone else's business like this. It's really any of my business.
Though I wish he'd trust me.
Anyways. Daiyu, Scruffle, and I went to the aquarium today. We swam with the merfolks and it was heartwarming to see them interact. Especially Ariel with Daiyu. Those two seemed to be really good friends. Ariel couldn't get over how soft Daiyu's hair is. She did that with my hair when we first met too. It's kind of super adorable.
Like really adorable.
Scruffle and Daiyu were kind of disappointed to leave but are going with me to see them again. It's kind of cool how much that they had bonded with the merfolks in five hours. It's really pretty.
I need to talk about the situation with Dad. He's got a really bad cold and he hasn't slept well cuz of it. I'm kind of worried what'll happen with him. He says that he'll be fine, but I dunno. I've never gotten sick before so I don't know how illnesses work with humans. Still, I'm going to be making him food while he relaxes. He's done enough for me in the past few months. So I should care for him while he's sick, right?
Right.
Oh, before I forget. Eloni's been sending me e-comm messages and he's been doing well. And that the place is going to be perfect for tourists when it's finally finished. He also asked me if I want to go there after it's finished. Apparently they're giving the workers a free week there with guests. I sent him an e-comm saying that I would love to.
It'll open in about a month but I'm super giddy about it. I'll be alone with him for a whole night in a romantic place. Wow! It'll be so awesome! Hopefully my boss will be cool with it and Daiyu will take care of Ms Flufflebottom for a while. It's going to be so utterly cool. The place is also near a beach so that means I can visit Fiyora.
Probably should tell the Seawitch that I plan on going in a month. He can tell Fiyora in advance and this will be so wonderful.
Everything's finally going right for me! What could possibly go wrong?
