The aftermath

No one's POV:

Y/N screamed and kicked as Laurens and Lee paused the duel.

"Listen to me, Y/N", Laurens tried to explain, "I am doing this for you."

"I could defend myself", she fought back, "Let me duel"

"No, I can't. I don't know if Alexander told you but, you mean the world to him", he sighed.

"Come on, let's get this over with", Lee complained.

"Please, don't try to stop this", Laurens left Y/N and Burr went to hold her.

Laurens and Lee went back to back again and walked the paces.

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8...

Y/N escapes out of Burr's clutches and head towards the middle of the duel.

"Y/N!", Alexander yells.

Pow!

Laurens sees Alexander shed tears as he runs towards the center. Laurens looks behind him as he sees Y/N, on the ground, blood running out of her body. He runs towards her, as everyone else, except Lee, did. 

"Guys, I'm fine", Y/N sighed,

"I should've held stronger", Burr cried.

"It's not your fault. Just mine's", she gasped.

"Don't say that", Alexander put his finger to her lips.

"It's just my shoulder", she explained.

Laurens stood up and saw that Lee was looking the other way, I am not going to sit here and let Lee get away with his mistakes.

Laurens took his pistol and shot Lee, in the side...

"WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING???", everybody looked behind them, it was General Washington.
