A day to remember...

George Washington's POV:

I can't remember the last time I saw my daughter, maybe a week? Or a couple of days? So much has happened to her, this is all my fault. I should've never let her come with me, but I know she is happy here, with her friends. I swear, if anyone I trust, like Alexander does anything with my daughter or hurt her I will...

BOOM!

I wait for another one, you know it.

BOOM!

A gun is fired as I wake up. I get ready to see what all the commotion is. I hope Y/N is still in bed fast asleep. I run out of my tent and run to see three people crowding around and one person on the grass, probably dead. I run as fast as I can and yell at the top of my lungs, "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING???", praying that Y/N isn't here.

Please, please, Jesus, don't let her be here...

I run towards them and I see Burr, Alexander(of course), Laurens, and Lee. Lee is on the ground, Alexander, Laurens, and Burr are in a straight line, trying to hide something from me. I looked at them, "Sir", Alexander saluted. Laurens and Burr did the same. 

"Can you please step aside, boys?(idk what general calls their soldiers)", I begged.

"I'm sorry", Alexander looked down, with worried eyes. He stepped aside. Y/N was lying on the ground with her shoulder bleeding, but this was her other shoulder, that wasn't shot before.

"Shit", I ran to her side and pushed her hair out of her face. "Who did this?", my voice cracked.

"Lee", Laurens answered.

"I'm really sorry. She came while Laurens and Lee where taking paces. She stood in the middle", Burr explained, worried and pity in his eyes. "I tried to hold her, so she didn't get hurt but she's strong"

I felt tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. I picked her up and carried Y/N to the medical tent. Alexander followed me, but I didn't care, I had to save my daughter...

Sorry for another short chapter, I was discussing this chapter with my friend like:

Me: Yo, what should I do? 

Friend: (I totally forgot what she said, but I remember us singing Hamilton songs and THEN I asked her what I should do)

Me: What if the next chapter was Washington's POV? 

Friend: Yeah!

LATER...

Me: *gasps*

Friend: what happened?

Me: I just realized, the chapter with Washington's POV is considered a filler

Friend: Yep

And that was our conversation...
