The Bachelor Party:

Alexander's POV:
Since I was getting married, the boys decided to throw me a bachelor party. I invited Burr, but he hasn't showed up as of now. We went down to the bar and had a couple drinks. Laurens got on top of the table, probably to make a toast. "I may not live to see our glory!", he exclaims. "I may not see our glory!", Lafayette and Mulligan drunkly reply. "But I've seen wonders great and small", Laurens chants. "But I've seen wonders great and small", the other boys repeated. "Cause if the tomcat can get married", Laurens pointed out. "If Alexander can get married-", the boys grabbed my shoulders and admitted it's a miracle. "There's hope for our ass, after all!", Laurens raised his mug. "Raise a glass to freedom", Lafayette starts. "Hey! Something that you'll never see again!", Laurens and Mulligan mentioned. "No matter what she tells you", Mulligan finishes. "Let's have another round tonight", Lafayette suggests. "Raise a glass to the four of us", Laurens starts. "Ho", Lafayette and I start. "To the newly not poor of us", Mulligan cheers. "We'll tell the story of tonight", Lafayette says. "Let's have another round-", Laurens gets interrupted when I see Aaron Burr walk in. I go to greet him, "Well if it isn't Aaron Burr?" "Sir!", he whipped his head to meet my face. "I didn't think you would make it", I admitted to him. "To be sure", he said. "Burr!", Mulligan and Lafayette chimes in unison. "Spit a verse, Burr!", Mulligan recommended. "I see the whole gang is here", Burr disregarded the request. "You are the worst, Burr", Lafayette mumbled. "Ignore them", I used my arm to make a shooing like signal. We talked for awhile but Laurens interrupted, "Well, Well, I heard, you got a special someone on the side Burr." My eyes widened, "Is that so?", he started to blush a little. "What are you trying to hide Burr?", Laurens interrogates him. "I should go", Burr started to leave but I got him to stay, "no these guys should go." "What?!", Lafayette yelled. "No!", Laurens cried. "Leave us alone", I asked. "Man...", Mulligan mumbled as they left. "It's alright Burr. I wish you brought this girl with you tonight Burr", I suggested. "You're very kind but I'm afraid it's unlawful sir", he laughed a little, was he joking? "What do you mean?", I gave him a puzzled look. "She's married", he admitted. "I see", I observed. "She's married to a British officer", he commented. "Oh shit", I did not see that coming. "Congrats again, Alexander. Smile more. You soon to be wife is great woman, I hope you see that.", he started to leave. "I never understand you. If you love this woman, go get her! What are you waiting for?", I still couldn't get the idea through my head.
