Alexander's POV:
President John Adams. The new president of the United States. Has fired me. How dare he?! How dare he fire me from my job? He even insulted me. He called me a creole bastard in private. What will Y/n say? What will happen? I need to do something. I need to show the world what kind of person the "President" is! I will write a response and publish it for the world to see! I pick up my quill and start drafting a response.
"An open letter to the fat, arrogant, anti-charismatic, national embarrassment, known as John Adams, the president. That man's irrational, he claims I'm in league with Britain in some vast, international intrigue. Bitch, please. You wouldn't know what I'm doing. You're always going berserk, you never show up to work. Give my regards to Abigail, next time you write about my lack of moral compass, at least I'm doing my job up in this rumpus! The line is behind me, I crossed it again. Well, the President lost it again. Aww, such a rough life! Better run to ya' wife! Yo, the boss is in Boston again. Lemme ask you a question: Who sits at your desk when you're in Massachusetts? They were calling you a dick back in '76 and you haven't done anything new since! You nuisance with no sense! You will die of irrelevance! Go ahead: You can call me the Devil! You aspire to my level. You aspire to malevolence! Say hi to the Jeffersons! And the spies all around me, maybe they can confirm
I don't care if I kill my career with this. I'm confining you to one term.
You fat mother—!" I read out loud. That sounds perfect, now just have to go publish it so everyone can see my response and my opinion on the current, so called, President John Adams.

Y/n's POV:
Today was a special day. I got to meet the First Lady, Abigail Adams. I obviously took Angelica with me. It took a while, but we got to Braintree, Massachusetts. We are going to stay for a couple days. We arrived at the house and was greeted by Abigail and John. Abigail and I have written letters to each other for a while, but this is the first time we will meet each other.
"Oh my Lord! Are you Y/n? And who's this young girl?" Abigail bent down to Angelica's height.
"This is Angelica." I introduced.
"Come in, we should have some tea and get to know each other better!" Abigail walked towards the house. We followed her. Once we sat down, we started to chat. John Admas left the house for some reason that was unexplained. That's when the doorbell rang. It was John Adams.
"Can you believe this bastard?" He held a pamphlet.
"John, there is a child here." Abigail reminded him.
"Still! This man is insane! He ruined my reputation! That Hamilton!" He looked really mad, reading the pamphlet while walking. I ran towards him, took the pamphlet, and started reading.
"Oh my goodness! Such language!" I gasped. I gave back the pamphlet to John and grabbed Angelica's hand. "We should be leaving. I apologize about my husband, he can be like this sometimes." I rushed out of the house with Angelica.
We got into the carriage and left.
A couple days of being in a carriage and we got to New York.
I grabbed our bags and rushed home. I opened the door and slammed it.
"Alexander! You!" I yelled. I rushed up to his office. "How could you ruin someone's reputation? How would you like it if someone ruined your reputation?" I asked.
"I was just being honest! People really did call him a di-" He started.
"No! I don't want to hear it! Abigail is probably devastated and never wants to speak to me anymore." I cut him off.
