"She's a grown woman, George. It pains me to say, maybe we should learn to let go", Martha tried to persuade him, I went to my room but could still hear them.

"What if she gets shot?", George argues.

"I...I don't know, but she is tough, I believe she can survive a war", Martha commented.

"Fine, let me think about it. It'll have to be soon because I have to go back to lead my troop", I heard his footsteps and a door shut.

I need a distraction...

I look in the mailbox thinking did Alexander forget to send me a letter? Probably. I should go down town so I can hunt his ass down...

Down Town:

I stroll down the street, looking for Alexander, I went to the pub, not a single friend(Yep) was there. I go back outside and I feel a hand go to touch mine.

"Who are you?", I asked the person behind, not thinking of looking to see who it is.

"You know", a familiar voice said.

"Alexander?", I guessed.

"Yep", he confirmed.

"You know, if you were a random drunk guy, I would've broken your wrist", I explained. He twirled me around to meet his face.

"Yikes", he gulped, "How would I write you letters with that?"

All of the sudden we see a man pushing through the crowd, with a big ass scroll in his hand. He got on top of a box and opened that big ass scroll, I swear it went for miles.

"Hear ye, hear ye, my name is Samuel Seabury and I present 'Free thoughts on the Proceedings of the Continental Congress', heed not the rabble who scream Revolution", the man said.

All of the sudden Alexander holds my hand and pulls me through the crowd, where I see Lafayette, Hercules,Laurens, and I saw Burr in the distance, we go to join them.

"Have not their interests at heart", Seabury continued.

"Oh my God, tear this dude apart", I heard Hercules say.

"Chaos and bloodshed are not the solution, don't let them leave you astray!", Samuel Seabury said.

I cringed at his opinion and I looked at the boys who also seemed to cringe with me. I saw Alexander trying to push through the crowd, this time towards the man.

"This Congress does not speak for me", he told us. I saw Burr follow Alexander to the front telling him, "Let him be".

Alexander doesn't listen to Burr and pushes him aside.

"I pray the King shows you his mercy, for shame, for shame", Seabury says.

"Yo", Alexander has successfully gotten close to Seabury and starts arguing with him. No one can hear what either of the boys are saying as they overlap each other, basically at each other's throats.

"My dog speaks more eloquently", Alexander says and the boys go wild with dog noises, I join them.

Before Burr gets to Alexander I hear, "Why should a tiny island across the sea, regulate the price of tea?"

"Alexander, please!", Burr tries to negotiate with Alexander. Out of nowhere, red coats come with their own big ass scroll.

"Silence, a message from the King", they say in unison. Alexander gets thrown off stage, I guess today is Speak Your Mind Day.

We heard the message and the red coats walked as the people made a passageway. I didn't move.

"Move, peasant", a red coat demanded.

"Don't speak to me that way", I responded.

Hercules grabbed me by the shoulders, "Sorry, my sister has short term memory, she will move now", he pushed me and I let him.

"What did you think you were doing?", Laurens asked.

"Standing up to those Brits, I'm tired of being pushed around by them, by everyone. Thanks for saving me Hercules but next time, know I can take care of myself", I told them. I said goodbye to them and went home, knowing no matter what, I will always been seen as fragile...

The Next Day:

"Kiddo, wake up", I felt a violent shake, so violent, I think it is an earthquake, never mind, it's the DADQUAKE! The shaking made me fall out of bed, "What the hell, dad?"

"Sorry, kiddo, I made my decision", he told me.

"So?", I smiled innocently.

He took a deep breath and sighed, "You can come"

I hugged him tight, "Thanks dad"

"Anything, for my Y/N", he responded.

"But, you have to come after the Winter's ball", he explained, "You need to find a suitor"

"That's fine", I said, "I love you, dad, this is a great privilege."
