Falling in Love (Alexander X Reader)

Wedding bells...

One month after the war...
This is it. We are sealing the deal. Alexander and I are getting married. Everything was perfect. I can see all the people in the pews waiting for me to walk down that aisle. I'm wearing a (f/c) dress (author: but if you want to go with the classic white, that's fine). I have Peggy to be my maid of honor. Hercules walked down the aisle throwing flowers, he wanted to be the flower girl and I couldn't stop him. Lafayette walked after him with the rings. "Are you ready?", my dad asked. "More than I'll ever be", I confirmed. I linked arms with my father as we started to walk down the aisle. Everyone stared at me, some crying. I saw Laurens crying, probably tears of joy.

Eliza's POV:
I was right next to Laurens when Y/n started to walk down the aisle, he started to cry. "Why are you crying?", I asked. "I always cry at weddings", Laurens sobbed.

Laurens's POV:
Eliza asked me why I was crying. "I always cry at weddings", I responded. That wasn't true, I was crying because the love of my life was slipping away(Alexander, to make it clear) (author: I had a person who recommended this to me who doesn't have Wattpad but this was too good to pass up so I had to do it😂)

Y/n POV:
I saw Alexander at the end with a priest ready to wed us. As we approached the priest, my father gave Alexander a glare that said,  'if you disrespect her, ruin her life, etc., etc., etc. I will kill you', and that is how you know my dad is overprotective. He went to go sit down. The priest started saying all the usual stuff you hear at weddings, I wasn't paying attention as Alexander and I exchanged glances and held each other's hands. It was truly the best day of my life. Surrounded by my friends and family is just the icing on the cake(the cake is gonna be tres leches because this girl(the author) says so). "Do you have any personal vows then you can say them", I heard the priest announce.
"I promise to love you and always be there for you", Alexander stared into my eyes. I can see his eyes full of emotion, of love.
"I promise to always love you no matter what, always be by your side, and I hope we can start a new chapter together", I stated.
I finally heard the most beautiful words: "Alexander, do you take Y/n to be your lawfully wedded wife and to love and cherish in sickness and in health?", the priest asked.
"I do", he promised as he slid the ring on my ring finger.
"And do you, Y/n, take Alexander to be your lawfully wedded husband and to love and cherish in sickness and in health?", he asked. "I do", I grabbed the ring and put it on Alexander's ring finger, then I gave it a gentle squeeze.

3rd POV (omniscient) (author: just learned about it):
"If anyone objects to the marriage of this couple, speak now or forever hold your peace", the priest stated.
Running through Eliza's, Angelica's, and Laurens's mind was the exact phrase, "I object", but none of them wanted to actually say it because they all loved Y/n and Alexander and didn't want to break them apart for their own greed. So they remained silent, which felt like torture with every millisecond that passed. Meanwhile, George Washington thought of objecting because he didn't trust Alexander with his daughter, but decided to remain silent due to the fact that his daughter would be mad at him. And Peggy was truly happy that Y/n was finally getting married, she always worried that Y/n would be forever alone. But now all she has to do is keep a close watch to make sure he doesn't hurt Y/n. [insert smirk emojis] (author: I know I'm gonna have a lot of people will actually do that)

Back to Y/n's POV:
As I waited to the priest to say the final words, I looked around to see if anyone objects. This was the scariest part, I wish I could see what was running through  everyone's mind. (Author: no you don't want to see everyone's thoughts) Then the priest broke the silence, "With the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride", Alexander and I both kissed and it felt like the first time we kissed. It's official, no one can take him away from me! "I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton" (author: I researched this just to have this perfect looking wedding). Everyone applauded as I looked at my husband. We kissed again and Laurens, Lafayette, and Hercules came to congratulate both of us. They hugged him and me. Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy came to also hug us and congratulate us. Now we go and eat dinner and make toasts.
Later...
We ate and drank as we talked to each other and everyone. All of the sudden, Angelica clanked her fork with her champagne glass to get everyone's attention and everyone fell silent. "I just want to say that I hope both of you, Y/n and Alexander, live a happy, long life and have beautiful children", she cheered, "to the new couple!" 
"To the new couple!", the rest of the guest repeated. She sat back down. "Now everyone give it up for the maid of honor, Peggy Schuyler!", Laurens introduced. "A toast to the groom", she said raising her glass. "To the groom, to the groom, to the groom", everyone repeated. "To the bride", she cheered. "To the bride, to the bride", everyone repeated again. "From your best friend", Peggy stated, "who will always be by your side. To your Union"
"To the Union", everyone cheered.
"May you always, be satisfied", she toasted.
Everyone cheered as I went to go give her a hug and thank her for her speech. (She had tears in her eyes. I wonder why.(I wanted to keep this)) A couple more people did speeches and Alexander is doing one too. "I just want to say that I hope our future can be bright and that I will always be by Y/n's side. I want you to be happy Y/n and I hope that I can make you happy. I hope that we have children one day as smart and brave as you always are. I love you Y/n", he stared at me the whole time and that made me feel so special and loved. "I would also like to say something. Now that the war has ended. I hope we can build the colonies stronger than they were under British control. I hope that our children can have a foundation and we can make our mark in the world. And I hope you will always be there to help me and for me to help you", I stated, "we don't need money to live, just happiness"

So did you like it? Because I took awhile to actually think about it. And I bet you guys thought I was dead. Lmao, just me? Well, lucky for you, I didn't fall off the face of the Earth. I was just reading a fanfic, it's really good. I want to dedicate this chapter to that author: Amberiso I swear the Hamilton fanfic they made was just so cool and YAFA so cute. If you're reading this, Amberiso, I just have to say, you are so creative and I love your work. Edit: I added Peggy! So all I did was replace Eliza with Peggy, sue me! I didn't want to change much. I felt like it was already enough as of 3/22/18, I hereby pronounce Peggy, NOT DEAD!
