Chapter 27:

Finn's Pov:
Today I was a new person. Not a journalist, but a soldier. On the way here, I imagined Y/n's reaction when she read my letter. I can't wait to see her reaction when she sees me as a soldier. I couldn't wait to be a hero, one of the men that will hopefully, win independence for this country. I also brought a journal and wrote down poems to hopefully confess to Y/n my feelings for her.

Alexander's POV:

I can't wait to see Lafayette, Laurens, and Y/n. But I am especially want to see Y/n. No, I don't want to see her, I want to kiss her, I want to marry her. I want to have children with her. Then, I realize that Washington will probably not let me because I am poor. I bet he wants the richest man to marry her, the one that can pay and give her the life she deserves. But doesn't she deserve to be happy? Yeah! And if she's happy with me, then Washington will have to give me his daughter. I break out of my thoughts as I see the battlefield. I immediately rush out of the carriage(?) and see Y/n in the distance. She turns around and she runs toward me and hugs me. I lift her off the ground and spin her. I kiss her on the lips and she slaps me.

"Oooh, that's gonna leave a mark", I hear one of the soldiers laugh. I rub my cheek, "What was that for?"

"For kissing me,we are just friends", she crosses her arms. "For now", she smiles and winks at me.

"So, now you're just teasing me?", I asked.

"Maybe", she giggles. Lafayette comes and hugs me, "Monsieur Hamilton!"

"Monsieur Lafayette!", I respond.

"In command, where you belong", Lafayette laughs.

"How do you say, no sweat. We're finally on the battlefield. We've had quite a run"

"Immigrants", Lafayette starts. Y/n and I jump in, "We get the job done"

"So what happens if we win?", I ask.

"I go back to France. I bring freedom to my people if I'm given the chance", Lafayette assures me.

"We'll be with you when you do. What about you, Y/n?", I ask.

"I will try to go to school, prove everyone wrong, that girls are more intelligent than you think, and do not just sit around all day doing nothing. Then, get a job so I can prove the men, that women can work", she explained.

"Go lead your men", Lafayette smirked.

"See you on the other side", I said to both.

"Till we meet again", they both exclaimed, Lafayette left and Y/n was with me.

"Alexander, are you ready for the world to turn upside down?", Y/n asked me.

"Yes, the world will turn upside down, I have a feeling we will win this war", I patted her head. Her hair was in a pony tail as always and she grabbed her gun and slung it over her shoulder.

Finn's POV:

I rushed to the battlefield and saw Y/n with Alexander, I walked over to them. 

"Hey", I waved.

"I'm sorry, no time to explain but you should get your gun and start shooting anyone with redcoats", the man explained, I think his name was Alexander.

"Yes, Sir", I saluted. I didn't know how to shoot a gun, but I was willing to try, even if I could die. "Hey, Y/n, I'm here", I waved at her. She hugged me, "I'm sorry, no time for catching up, we can win the whole war if we focus. We can catch up later, when we're free"

When we're free, her exact words, "I'm looking forward to it", I smile. She runs off with Alexander and little did I know what I got myself into...

OMG, This is the end of the war! What will happen next? ... Who knows?! Anyways, I would like to thank everyone who has read, voted, and commented on this story.
