Chapter 26:

Lafayette's Pov:

I was called to see General Washington, I wonder what happened.

"Ah, Lafayette. Perfect timing", Washington greeted me.

We chatted for a while about the problems we are facing.

"We rendezvous with Rochambeau, consolidate their gifts", Washington suggested.

"We can end this war at Yorktown, cut them off at sea, but for this to succeed, there is someone else we need...", I planned out for this day. The day Washington needed me to suggest a plan. I'm going to bring Hamilton back...

"I know", Washington got the idea, "Hamilton"

"Sir, he knows what to do in a trench ingenuitive and fluent in French. I mean-", I try to persuade the general.

"Hamilton!", Washington stated.

"Sir, you're gonna have to use him eventually. What's he gonna do on the bench? I mean-"

"Hamilton!", Washington answered.

"No one has more resilience or matches my practical tactical brilliance. I mean-"

"Hamilton!"

"You wanna fight for your land back?"

"I need my right hand man back!", Washington realizes.

"Ah! Uh, get ya right hand man back . You know you gotta get ya right hand man back. I mean you gotta put some thought into the letter but the sooner the better  to get your right hand man back!"

The general reads the letter out loud to me, "Alexander Hamilton, troops are waiting in the field for you. If you join us right now, together we can turn the tide. Oh, Alexander Hamilton, I have soldiers that will yield for you. If we manage to get this right, they'll surrender by early light. The world will never be the same, Alexander...

Alexander's Pov:

I was at home trying to relax. I watched as two birds snuggled with each other and thought of Y/n. I miss her, even though we wrote letters to each other, I wished to see her soon. The mail man came towards me and handed me a letter. I looked at the envelope and saw that it was from General Washington. I excitedly opened up the letter to reveal that he wanted me back on the field. He said that there are soldiers that are willing to yield for me. I think that he wants me to finally have the position I've always wanted. I'm going to finally lead soldiers. I can't wait so I pack a bag and write back to Washington. We will end this war...

Y/n's Pov:
Burr, Laurens, and I drink a lot. I feel dizzy but I don't care. We see Lafayette walk towards us. He looks at our drunk faces and tells us, "Mon amis, I have wonderful news"
"What is it", the three of us say in unison.

"Alexander is coming back", I feel my heart drop. I haven't seen him for so long. I hug Lafayette, "Thank you"
"Anything for my friends", Lafayette chuckles, "Let's have some rounds"

End of Chapter. Sorry if it was so short. Honestly I feel the chapters getting shorter for me. This is only like 500 words. The first couple of chapters were between 1,000 and 2,000 words. Any ways have a happy holidays and may the new year bring new things. I have exciting news! Someone is willing to make me a cover and title for this story!
