follow up to chapter 2

Dane's point of view

I couldn't stop thinking about Kim since she dropped me off earlier today. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw her face. I was pulled out of my thoughts when someone knocked on my door.

- come in - I said.

- mister DeHaan, your father would like you to come downstairs before he leaves for the airport -

- tell him I'll be right down Elton -

- yes sir -

- Elton... -

- yes mister Dehaan -

- do you believe in love at first sight -

- I don't know sir - Elton said - depends on who it is -

- oh - was the last thing I said before heading downstairs to say goodbye to my dad

- You wanted to see me father - I said while straightening up

- Yes - my father, Jeff Dehaan said - I'll be gone for five weeks due to OSCORP studies as you already know. I expect you to behave both at school and home while I'm gone. I'm giving Elton the month off so it's just going to be you here - my father concluded

- I promise to behave and clean up after myself - I said sternly

- Alright, we'll you know the rules and since I'll be gone for so long you can invite a friend to stay over if you want. If you do, ask them not to touch anything and only invite them if they can clean up after themselves -

- I think I'll manage being alone for five weeks -

After that, my father got his briefcase and left without a goodbye or a hug. I was used to this by now, but every now and then I got lonely being in this giant mansion alone.

After helping Elton pack his suitcase and putting it in his car, I started to get ready for bed. As I laid down I could already feel myself begin to drift off but before I did, I couldn't help but think about Kim. I wondered what she was doing right now and most importantly if she was thinking about me.

End of Dane's Point of View

Hi guys. Okay so I decide to write something in Dane's point of view. I also wrote this because I wanted you guys to see how his daily life at home is. He is distant and at times rude "as Kim describes him" because of the lack of love from his father!!!!! Big shocker.... Jk not really but I hope you enjoy this extended version of chapter two.
