I can hear voices all around me but I'm to tired to find out where they're coming from. Feeling emotionally and physically worn out, I just laid there on the white sandy beach letting my skin soak up the suns powerful yet gentle rays.
It feels like I've been here in this tropical paradise for months and I want to go home. I miss my friends, family, and even my neighbors annoying cat. The person who I missed the most was Dane.
I wanted Dane to come find me and wrap his protective arms around my body. I wanted to feel his touch even if it was just for a second.
" Dane " I said
After I said that, a strange noise came from the sky. As the seconds passed the noise turned into a fragile voice whispering assurance. That voice sounded very familiar so why couldn't I distinguish who it was!
As a desperate attempt to hear that heavenly voice again, I said Dane's name once more.
Instead of a voice, this time I heard humming. It was a lullaby. A very beautiful lullaby.
" I need you Dane Dehaan " I whispered softly to myself while feeling empty.
