Chapter 28

Yay for 5 seconds of summer and their debut album.

Dane's point of view

I silently opened the front door and let my bags falls once I stepped inside. I took off my shoes as I emptied out the pockets of my jacket and put them both in the coat closet.

I went straight to the kitchen and got myself a glass of water since I was dehydrated from my long hard day at work.

It wasn't until I was relaxing in the living room that I noticed how quiet everything was. The only noise was coming from the grandfather clock on the far left side of the room.

- Kendall? - I yelled

After a couple minutes of silence I decided that she wasn't home. I was about ready to call it a day so I went upstairs to take a shower but as I was about to turn the door knob the door opened itself revealing Kendall with two big suitcases.

I stared at her for a second before asking where she was going. She simply caressed my face and said - I left a surprise for you on the dresser -

- wait...... hold uuup. Whhats going on - I stuttered

Kendall looked at me straight in the eyes and said - it's not me babe.... it's you -

After saying that she quickly went downstairs and went out the front door.

I slowly walked over to the window and watched her drive away. While sighing, I picked up the letter and small box off the dresser. I opened the letter and read

" Dear Dane,

I'm going back to Los Angeles and I'm not coming back. It is so obvious that neither one of us is ready to settle down and start a family so that's why I'm leaving you. If the press or media ask what happened, I want you to say that we fell in love with different people. It's not a complete lie because I have fallen for someone else. Sorry for cheating on you but it's the cold harsh honest truth. Hope we can still be friends.

        Love Kendall Jenner <3 "

I reread it again just to make sure I had read it right. Maybe she was right...... maybe I wasn't ready to start a family, especially with her.

I should probably feel used but I was just as guilty as her.

The honest truth is that I have fallen in love with someone else. I have been in love with the same girl since I was 17 and I was determined to get her back since no one was no longer in the way of my happiness.

Even if it took me years, I wouldn't stop until she forgave me. Love is relentless just like me.

Okay umm... I'm not accusing anyone of stealing my ideas but about two days ago I noticed that someone else was also using Emma Watson as their main character. Coincidence? Maybe, but I don't really care. I hope all of you like this chapter and no hate toward Kendall at all. It's just fiction.
