Chapter 24 part three

Kim's Point of View

"can I talk to you" Dane said. Where did he come from?

- you scared me - I said while unlocking my car - get in -

I drove a few blocks away from the restaurant just to make sure no one would see us.

My car was now parked in a dark corner under a tree and the only sound was our unsteady breathing. After a few minutes of awkward silence Dane took off his seatbelt and turned his body so he was looking directly at me.

- well... Are you going to say anything or are you just going to stare at me - I said with a bit of attitude.

- someone is moody - he said with a smirk.

- I'm tired and I have to get up early tomorrow - I said as I scrolled down my news feed on instagram. - what did you want to talk about -

Dane looked at me weirdly and said - I haven't forgotten about you. Actually you've been on my mind a lot lately -

- really... - I said while looking at my lap.

- Kim look at me - he said as he tilted my chin up so I was looking directly at his face.

He hasn't changed one bit. In fact he looked hotter and manlier than before.

- why are you telling me this, you have a fiancé - I said quietly

- I think I was on drugs when I asked her to marry me -

I fought the urge to smile but failed miserably.

- you don't have to act so tough when you're around me. I love you for who you are - he said while engulfing my hand with his.

- what would Kendall say if she saw us right now -

- I want her to see us. I want to be caught - he said sounding a bit desperate.

I removed my hand from his and said - I've changed and so have you -

- who told you that. I haven't changed at all -      

- I've changed. I'm not that girl you knew before - I lied

- I can see it in your eyes that your lying. You can't push me away. I'm really sorry for what I did. -

- I'm not... - I said

- Kim.... I think I'm still - he said

- don't you dare it say -

- I still love you - he said while looking directly in my eyes.

- stop, you don't mean it. Don't say things that you can't take back - 

- but I do mean it. I meant every word I said. I loved you back then and I still do. Why don't you believe me? - he said sadly

- because my feelings have changed. I admit I used to like you back then but I'm 24 now and my feelings have changed - I said.

- I should have done this a long time ago -

I was about to ask what he meant by that but before I knew it, his soft lips came in contact with mine.  He kissed me passionately and slowly. I felt like our lips were made for each other and didn't want this moment to end but it did at some point. I hesitantly pulled back.

My lips felt like they were on fire and my stomach felt as though there was a thousand butterflies trapped in there.                                                                   

- I think I love you - Dane said

- I  think i love you too -

Hey! Sorry this sucked but at least they kissed.
