Dominance [H.S]

CHAPTER 8

We sat down around the table and ate our food in silence. Mom had made some chicken and rice and it tastes terrific, Lucas was here and dad haven't asked why yet, but he looked kind of surprised when Lucas walked with me down the stairs earlier.

Mom hadn't said a word to granny except from a simple hi when she came. It's a really awkward silent and I really needed to break it.

"So granny, how was your day?" I asked to break the ice around us.

"Really good my dear, I've been working in the garden the whole morning" she said and smiled.

I took another bite from my chicken and waited for someone else to say something. But the room was still quiet as fuck.

"I'm glad you also could join us tonight Lucas" my mom finally said.

"I'm glad I could stay here even if it was unexpected" he said and smiled.

"Don't worry my son you're always welcome here" dad said and took a sip from his water.

"I really appreciate it" Lucas said.

"I would love if you would like to help me with Sam's new car tomorrow"

I almost breathed in my whole glass of water when I heard 'Sam's car'.

"Have you bought me a car?" I said and my jaw dropped to the floor when he nodded.

"It's nothing much, but i think you're gong to like it" he said and smiled as he took some more rice to his plate.

"I wanna see it now" I said and clapped my hands together.

"You can wait until after dinner" my mom said and chewed on some tomatoes.

No I'm not going to wait, I wanna see it now.

I looked over at dad and he gave me a soft nod. I stood up before mom could react and ran towards the backdoor.

"Sam come back!" My mom yelled but I just kept running towards the garage.

I ran outside and ran on the wet grass over to the garage door. I opened it and saw a cute little black Audi.

"Holy shit" I said and walked around it and studied every detail of it.

"You like it?" My dad asked as he entered the garage with Lucas.

"If I like it? I fucking love it" I said and laughed.

"It's not finished yet, it needs some new seats and a new backlight on the right side"

"Thanks dad I love it so so much" I said and hugged him.

Even if the car was old and needed some new seats it was perfect, or should I say more than perfect.

Dad walked to his working desk with his tools and took a pair of keys and threw one at me. I catched it and smiled.

"You'll have to drive mine tomorrow to your work" he said.

Lucas looked at me "did you got the job?"

I nodded.

"That's perfect" he said and put his arm around me.

"I hope it's okay" I said and looked at him.

"Of course it is baby, we'll move back here and start our life here instead. They needed some more employees here at the office so I can transfer here" he said and kissed my forehead.

"That sounds good" I said.

My dad was smiling and opened the door for us. "Let's head back in before mom freaks out"
