CHAPTER 18

*DOUBLE UPDATE*

Samantha's POV

I was tired, so mentally tired that it felt like my brain was about to explode in millions of pieces. It almost felt like I was high from smoking weed, my legs where weak and my private area was numb even though I didn't had to strain myself for a second.

I walked outside from the elevator in the direction of the doors when Debby walked up behind me.

"Wow, it looks like you haven't slept in weeks?" She said and spun me around.

"I'm just tired, all the work really kills me" I said.

"Still coming over tonight?" She asked.

"Of course, count us in"

She smiled and followed me towards the doors.

"Take a nap or something, because tonight is going to be really fun you can't miss it" she said as she held one of the doors open for me.

"Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it" I said and walked outside into the warm weather.

"See ya" she said and waved me goodbye as I walked towards my car.

I actually drove my own car today, dad had fixed the backlight yesterday and it's so smooth to drive. I unlocked the car and sat down in my new and fresh leather seat. I turned on the engine before I drove out on the road, I really need to get home so I can get some sleep. I can't get it how I could get so damn tired, it's like my whole brain is closed or totally turned off.

The traffic was kind of cool today and I need to thank Jesus for that since I almost had myself and my new car killed on the way. I drove up onto the driveway and parked my car next to dad's jeep. They must be home from the hospital now, I really hope that mom is okay with only small injuries.

I walked outside in the warm air and continued towards the door. I opened it and kicked off my shoes as I made my way upstairs to my room. I threw myself on the bed and crawled down under the blanket as I heard steps from outside the door. Lucas walked inside and sat down by the end of the bed and looked at me with his warm blue eyes "do you want something to eat?"

"No thank you, I just need to sleep" I said and yawned.

"Is the work hard babe?" He said and giggled softly as he gently stroked my back with his hand.

"Yeah, I'm so used to just be home all day, to clean or study" I said and closed my eyes.

"I know how it feels"

"We are going home to my friend Debby tonight for dinner" I said, still with closed eyes.

"That sounds lovely, where do they live?" He asked softly as he laid down behind me.

"Only a couple of minutes away from my work, the apartment next to theirs are for sale"

"You wanna take a look at it? Since you know, we can't live here our whole life" he said and placed his arm around me and dragged me closer to him.

"Only if you want to, it's a nice neighbourhood with a great view from the windows"

"I'm open for every offer we can get" he said and snuggled his face into my hair and I couldn't help but smile.

Offer. I'm so tired that I had totally forgot about mine and Harry's agreement.

"That's great" I said uncomfortable as I knew what me and Harry did for less than 2 hours ago.

"Let's take a nap together" he said and kissed my cheek.

"Sounds like the most perfect idea ever" I said and placed my hand over his.
