CHAPTER 33

Jessica's POV:

I woke up in a strange place. I was seated on a chair and my legs were tied to it so were my hands. There was no one there. I tried to bite open the knots in the rope to free my hands. It took me a while but I successfully managed to do so. I then fiddled in the pocket of my jeans and pulled out my phone. I then dialled Cody's number and he picked it up on the first ring. "Hey, Jess. What's taking you so long? Do you..." I cut him off by saying: "Cody, help me! Daniel kidnapped me and brought me to a place where I don't know." I sobbed. "He what? Don't worry Jess. The guys are here with me. We'll be there as soon as possible. Do you know where you are?" He asked. "I don't know." I replied. "It's kinda dark in here." I said. Then, Daniel suddenly entered the room. I quickly hid my phone into my pocket so that he would not notice. "Well, well. Finally the sleeping beauty has awaken." He said. I gulped. "Trying to escape are we?" He|

said noticing my hands were free. "Not so fast." He said. "Tie her up now." He said. At his command two men came and tied me up again. "Please don't do this to me. Set me free." I begged Daniel. "I will set you free Jess. If you agree to be mine. Then we can live happily ever after and I will treat you like a princess." Daniel said. "Never would I do that in a million years. I would rather die than be yours." I said. "Then fine. Let it be so. It was your choice." Daniel said and turned to leave. "And one more thing before I forget." He said and turned around to face me. "Don't even think of trying to escape or else your punishment will be severe." He said and left. I was scared. Hopefully Cody finds me before it's too late.

Cody's POV:

It's been almost an hour since Jessica left. I wonder what's taking her so long. I was just about to ring her up when a phone call came. It was from her. I immediately answered it. "Hey, Jess. What's taking you so long? Do you...." I was cut off by her saying: "Cody, help me! Daniel kidnapped me and brought me to a place where I don't know." She sobbed. From her voice, I knew she was shaken up and terrified. My blood instantly began to boil. How dare he! That rascal is gonna have to pay for this. "Don't worry Jess. The guys are here with me. We'll be there as soon as possible. Do you know where you are?" I asked her. "I don't know." She replied. "It's kinda dark in here." She added. I was about to ask her something but I heard some noise on the other end of the line. Maybe Daniel is there. That's why Jessica was not talking. That was my plus point here. I listened carefully to Daniel and Jessica's conversation. At the same time Julian managed to track down the location of the phone. As soon as we got the information that we needed, I ended the call. Then we planned out our strategy on how we were gonna attack and defend ourselves. We took all the necessary weapons that would come in handy and then we headed to where Jessica was kidnapped. Throughout the drive, I kept hoping that Jessica was alright and that that bastard Daniel did no harm to her cause if he did, he's gonna regret laying one finger against her. We soon arrived at the kidnapping location. We parked the car a little further from the area so that we would not easily get caught. Slowly, we made our way inside. We were careful not to make a single noise or else we would all end up getting caught. Hopefully we find Jessica in time before anything bad happens.

Jessica's POV:

I heard Daniel talking to someone. It sounded like he was talking to a girl. I heard their voices getting louder as they approached the room I was in. "Well, well, well. Look what we have hear." I heard a very familiar voice say. I looked up to see Brittany standing in front of me. "You bitch. So you were involved in all of this two?" I asked angrily. "Woah, slow those horses down Williams. If I were you I would watch my tongue or else something bad is gonna happen." Brittany said. "I warned you many times about getting close to Cody and you never heeded any of them. So, I did what I told you I would do. If anything happens to you over here, nobody will come to know and nobody would be there to save you. Not even your prince charming Cody." She sneered. "I'm not in the least bit scared Brittany. I am one hundred percent sure that Cody will come and find me." I said. "He definitely will my dear. But too bad you won't be around to be saved." Brittany said. "What are you gonna get by destroying me Brittany?" I asked her. "If by destroying you I get to have Cody, then I have no regrets doing so." She replied. "You know, Cody will never like a bitch like you. You wanna know the truth? Cody actually thinks you're worthless." I told her straight to her face. "I know Cody only thinks that because of you. With you out of the way, I will be able to do exactly what I want to do. You know, I was thinking of ways to destroy you when I met Daniel. I came to know that he was waiting for the day to take revenge on you. So we came to an agreement and made a deal. We'll finish you off together." She smiled wickedly. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed that Cody and the boys have managed to find me. Cody gave me a look that said keep quiet. I nodded. Slowly and carefully they made their way to behind the two men and attacked them from behind. This caused Brittany and Daniel's attention to turn towards them. "Well, if it isn't prince charming who's here to save his princess?" Daniel said mockingly. "I should've known you would come." He added. At once without warning, Cody jumped on Daniel and started beating him up. "How dare you kidnap Jessica?" "She deserves someone way better than you." Cody said as he beat Daniel. Daniel too threw a few punches at Cody. Soon they were both on the floor rolling and beating each other up. But Cody ended up victorious. He managed to tie Daniel up and left Julian and Carlos in charge of him. Then he stepped forward and untied me. As soon as I stood up, I heard a voice behind Cody: "So you think you can leave so easily?" It was Brittany. "I'm never gonna let you leave Cody. I want you and if that means I have to eliminate her than I will." Brittany said. "I've told you a million times Brittany. I don't love you and I never will." Cody told her. "In that case, I'll have to kill you to make you mine in heaven." Brittany said. She pulled out a gun from her pocket and aimed it at Cody. "Brittany you seriously have no idea what you are about to do." Cody said as he cautiously steppes forward and tried to grab the gun from her but she wasn't that dumb. "I have no other choice Cody." She told him. "If I can't be united with you in life, at least I get to be united with you in death."

Cody's POV:

I watched in horror as Brittany pointed the gun towards me and said: "You'd better make your last wish before you die Cody." I closed my eyes, scared to witness what was going to happen in a few seconds. I heard Brittany pull the trigger and a loud bang. I expected the bullet to pierce through my body and to drop down dead. But I was still standing a few seconds after the gunshot sound was heard. I opened my eyes to see what happened and I immediately screamed: "NO!!"
