4 Years Later......

Jessica's POV:

It's been 4 years since Cody and I were together. I wouldn't say that we were the prefect couple. Sure enough we had our fights and moment where we disagreed with each other but in the end I always found my way back to him and him to me. We bought attended the same college and were inseparable. We even shared the same dorm room. As for the rest of our friends, they were also doing well both in study wise and in their love lives. They're all still together and I'm happy for them as they all make great couples. We still see each other very often and hang out whenever possible. Today is Cody and I's fourth anniversary and Cody has been planning something special for me. Tonight he's gonna reveal his surprise to me and I can't wait to see what it was. Gosh I love him! He spoils me like a baby and treats me like his own princess. I could have never asked for a better boyfriend than him.

Cody's POV:

Today is our fourth anniversary and I planned to make it extremely special for Jessica. Because I also had something important to ask her as well. I've been planning this for weeks now, and I'm excited to see how she would react to it all. With the help of the guys, I managed to do everything I planned according to schedule. At about 6:00 in the evening, I went to pick Jessica up. I already called and told her to get ready before hand. So I arrived at her house, and knocked on the door. The door opened and there stood my Jess looking as pretty as ever:

"Hey baby. You look pretty." I said and grabbed her waist as I pulled her closer to me. "Don't you always say that to me?" She asked. "I do because you're always pretty." I said and stole a kiss from her. "Whatever. You're such a sweet talker." She said and I replied: "Indeed I am but only for you." I added a wink at the end and she blushed. "Aww... baby. Have I told you look so cute when you blush?" I said to her and she playfully hit me in the chest. "Shut up Cody. Let's go." And so we left, When we were halfway near our destination, I turned to her and said: "Baby I need you to put this blindfold on and no peeking until I say so." "But Cody..." She began to whine but I stopped her by placing a soft kiss to her lips. "Shh." I told her. "Trust me ok?" And she nodded. I could see that Jessica was getting more impatient by the second. She kept on asking if we reached yet. "Are we there yet?" She asked for the hundredth time. "Yeah, we're here." I said and got out of the car and helped her out. "Finally." She said. "So can I take out my blindfold yet?" She asked hopefully. "Nope." I said. "Keep walking but in a few minutes you can." She let out a groan and did as she was told. I held her from the back so that she will not fall or hurt herself. After we have walked for about five minutes, I went a few feet ahead of her and shouted: "You can take off the blindfold now." She did as she was told and she gasped as soon as she saw what was in front of her. I planned to surprise her by having dinner by the lakeside. The twinkling star in the sky made the place even more romantic. I went behind her and placed my hands around her waist and rested my chin on her shoulder and asked: "You like it?" "Oh, Cody." She said with a sigh as she fell backwards onto my chest. "It's amazing. I love it so much. Thank you." She told me. "Anything for my babe." I told her and planted a kiss on her cheek. "Shall we eat now?" I asked and she nodded. So I went back to the car and grabbed the picnic basket that I brought. I placed it down on the blanket that was laid out for us and beckoned Jessica to sit with me. She opened the basket and her mouth began to water as I have had all her favourite food made specially for her. Throughout dinner, we talked, made jokes and laughed. All in all everything was perfect. And it was how I planned it to be.

Jessica's POV:

After dinner, Cody and I laid on the blanket watching the stars. "They're beautiful." I said in almost a whisper. "They are. But not as beautiful as the view I have in front of me." Cody replied. I turned to face him and found him looking right back at me. I blushed because I understood that it was me he was talking about. "You know you should let me see you blush more often. You look pretty whenever you do so." He said and I blushed again and buried my face in his chest. He chuckled at my actions. We stayed like this for a while until he spoke up: "Look at the sky babe." I looked up and there was a beautiful display of fireworks. It said: "Will you marry me?" I looked behind me and saw that Cody was on one knee. Tears began to well in my eyes and I covered my mouth with my hands in shock. "Jessica..." Cody began. "We've been together for four years now. I know that I'm only human and I make mistakes too. But you stood by me through it all. Sure, we had our fair share of arguments but that's what only made our relationship stronger. When I first met you, I was a player who never knew what love was. But everything changed after I first laid eyes on you. You changed me and made me fall in love. And it was amazing. I've already made up my mind that I want to be with you for the rest of my life. So I have one important question to ask you: "Will you be my forever and marry me?" I let the tears fall down my cheeks before I replied: "Yes Cody. I want to be your wife and yes I wanna spend my life with you." I said. Cody then reached around in his pocket and pulled out a box. He opened it and there was a beautiful diamond ring inside:

He took it out of the box and placed it on my ring finger. After that he stood up, and I threw my arms around him and kissed him passionately. After that, we pulled away and he looked into my eyes and said: I love you Jessica Williams." He said wiping my tears away. "I love you Cody Christian." I said and hugged him. Never in a million years did I expect to fall in love with the school's player. But it was all worth it and there was nothing that I wanted to change in my life because it was all perfect.
