Jessica's POV:
My first week at school was great. I finally felt like I belonged here. I became best friends with Chloe, Kayla, Stephanie and Marie and we do mostly everything together. I'm so excited because today Stephanie suggested that we go have a Girl's Day Out where we could do whatever we wanted and end with a sleepover at her house. I was actually nervous on how mom would react to this idea but surprisingly she gave me permission to go. She told me that I should have fun at least once in a while. So I quickly took a shower and kept debating with myself on what should I wear and finally settled on this outfit:
I put my hair into a bun with bangs and went on ahead and applied my make up:
As soon as I was done, my phone rang. It was Stephanie calling to say that she was already outside my house. I told her that I would be out in five. So I ran downstairs, said goodbye to mom and Allie and walked outside to see Stephanie waiting outside. I also noticed that the other girls were already with her. "Morning girls." I said as I entered the car. "Morning Jess." They all said in unision. "Are y'all ready for the best day ever?" Stephanie asked. "Hell yeah we are." We all replied as we threw our hands up in the hair. Soon enough, we arrived at the mall. "So what do we do first?" Kayla asked. "How about we do manicure?" Marie suggested. "Let's go then." I said so we all went and had our nails done. I must say I love the way my nails look after that:
After that, we decided to go shopping. We shopped until we dropped. We went to quite a number of shops. We went to Forever 21, Hush Puppies and so on. By the time we were done shopping, our hands were full of shopping bags and we were all hungry. "How about we go grab something to eat?" I suggested. "Yeah. I'm starving." Marie whined and we all giggled. So after much debating, we finally decided to have lunch at McDonalds. Stephanie and I decided to grab a table while the rest of the girls stood in line. We told them what we would like to have and gave them money as well. "C'mon. This is a prefect spot. Hurry up before somebody takes it." Stephanie motioned me towards a table. We waited for a while but the girls haven't come with our orders yet. "I'm gonna go check on them." I told Stephanie and she nodded. So I got up and began to search for the girls. But me being me, was so clumsy that I bumped into the person in front of me and fell. Although, before I could fall, a pair of strong arms grabbed me and steadied me. "Woah you ok?" The person asked. I looked up and it was none other than Cody Christian. "Williams?" He asked looking shocked for a second. "Yeah, it's me." I replied. "Coincidence?" He asked. "Not at all." I replied. "So, we finally meet again." He said as I steadied myself. "Yeah. What about it?" I asked. "Wow! fiesty. Are you always like this?" He asked sounding impressed. "Yeah and I wouldn't have myself in any other way." I said. "I see. Lucky for you I love fiesty girls." Cody said in a flirty way. "Why am I lucky?" I asked him. "Oh, just wait and see darling." He replied with a wink. "You know I actually had a feeling that I'd meet you somewhere around today." He said out of the blue. "Oh, really? Why?" I asked. "I have no idea. It's just..." He began. "It's just...." I repeated waiting for him to continue. "It's just that you're different from most girls and I'd like to get you know better." He said. "Really? You think I'm gonna fall for that?" I asked him. "I'm not kidding." He said and I knew from the tone of his voice that he was being honest. "Well then, just so you know, I'm a tough case to crack." I said folding my arms. "In that case I'll be the one to crack the case." He replied. "Good luck with that Christian." I said as I walked away. "Game on. Williams!" I heard him shout from behind. I just chuckled. I walked back to the table to see that the girls have finally came with our orders. "Were you talking to..." Marie asked surprised. "Cody Christian? Yeah what about it?" I asked. "OMG! Cody Christian actually talked to you!" Kayla squealed. "Why are you guys fangirling?" I asked. "How can we not fangirl about the hottest guy in school?" Stephanie asked. "You're so lucky." She added. "Whatcha guys chatted about?" Chloe asked curious. "Oh, nothing much. I just bumped into him and he prevented me from falling no big deal." I said and shrugged. "That's a big deal indeed." Chloe spoke up. "How come you're not impressed since it's your first time meeting him?" "Not the first time meeting him?" I muttered. "What?" The girls screamed in my face. "Yeah. We practically met during the cheer leading tryouts. He nearly hit me with a ball but I managed to catch it. And he's trying to get to know me since then." I said. "You know what that means?" Stephanie asked. "What?" I asked her. "It means he's totally into you, Jess." She said. At this, I left out a laugh. "Cody Christian interested in me? Sorry guys but this is too much." "We're serious Jess. Although Cody is a player he doesn't really go after girls, but he's taking the time to talk. He does mean something." Kayla said. "Well, I'm not planning on having a boyfriend anytime sooner." I said. "Oh, we'll see. It's only just the beginning." Chloe said. And this practically went on throughout the day. These girls seriously couldn't shut their mouths. They just had to keep teasing me with Cody. What's so great about Cody anyways?
