~ Headlights ~ (Chapter 22)

Amanda's P.O.V  (Whaaaa?)

Meredith's been acting really different lately. i know how much hate she's been getting and today's like a free day for us so i decided i'm gonna take her to have like a girls day. She's currently getting ready and i'm sitting on my bed 

"Hey Amanda. can i talk to you outside for a minute" Shawn says nervously, why is he nervous

"sure" we walk outside and walk down the hall a little bit.

"is Meredith happy? like am i making her happy? i just don't want anything to happen to her" He rambles. i laugh

"Shawn are you kidding me? you treat her like a princess. of course she's happy. and how would anything happen to her if your watching her like a hawk?" i smile. he nods and smiles back

"Thank you Amanda. i really appreciate it" he says rubbing his temples

"i appreciate you treating my best friend right. she's really happy because of you. happier then i've seen her in a long time" i say walking back to the room. he follows me and we walk inside. i see Meredith putting on her converse. she looks at me confused and i just give her the 'ill tell you later look'. she nods and stands up

"have fun baby. ill see you when you get back. i love you, don't let Amanda talk you into something illegal. " i hear Shawn whisper kissing Meredith's forehead. she chuckles and i glare at him

"asshole" i say and me and Meredith walk out the door. i pass Taylor in the hallway and he smirks at me

"where you off too" he asks me 

"were going to get our nails done and then maybe the movies or something" i say hugging him 

"alright have fun" he says kissing my cheek. i smile and we walk down the stairs. 

"So the nail place is right down the road so i was thinking we could just walk. is that okay?" i ask walking though the lobby

"yeah thats fine" Meredith says. i smile and we walk down the road laughing at some dude that she saw on Instagram. we wall inside and up to the counter 

"Two manicures please" i say to the lady 

"okay right this way" She smiles leading us to two chairs. They begin to do our nails. i get acrylic nails with blue paint and she gets the same with purple paint. That takes about an hour and then we pay and walk out 

"i vote we go to the movies and see IT" Meredith says looking at her phone

"YES. lets go" we walk over to the movie theatre which was right next to the nail place. Crazy right? We walk up to the counter dude 

"two tickets for IT" Meredith says handing the dude the money. he was about our age with blonde hair. He smiles at us and grabs the money. the receipt prints out and he writes something on the back and hands it to her along with the tickets. she grabs it and we walk inside 

"what did the receipt say" I ask her. she looks at me confused so i grab it from her and turn it around

She reads over my shoulder and grabs it out of my hand and throws it away in the trash can

"I finally found the love of my life and i'm not about to lose him over some dude" she says rolling her eyes. I laugh at her

"good. but lets get popcorn and then go find seats" i say pulling out some money. we get in line and get our pop corn. we find our theatre and sit down near the top

SKIPPING THE MOVIE BECAUSE REALLY ALL THEY DO IS SIT THERE AND I DON'T WANNA RUIN IT FOR ANYONE INCASE SOMEONE HASN'T SEEN IT EVEN THOUGH IT CAME OUT LIKE... 3 MONTHS AGO 😂

"that was such a good movie" Meredith says laughing as we cross the street going back to the hotel. Good. she was finally happy. i really hope she stays like this for awhile. We continue crossing the street. i'm deep in my thoughts 

That is. until i see the headlights coming straight at me.
