Meredith's P.O.V

"ow, ow" I hear Cameron scream for the 100th time

"it's alright you're almost done" I say running my thumb over the back of his hand, glancing at the doctor doing his stitches. He finishes up and leans up

"Alright, uh, well you need to take these once a day, and stay off of it as much as possible, when you are on it, make sure to use the crutches" he says handing him a bag,

"thanks" he says. the doctor smiles and walks out the room. Cameron groans and leans back onto the bed

"this fucking sucks" he says. I grab his crutches and hold them out

"should have been paying attention to where you were going" I say, he glares at me and snatches the crutches from my hands. I walk out the room, holding open the curtain for Cameron. He wobbles out and we walk out to the parking lot,

"you know what I just fucking realized" I say turning to look at the two boys behind me

"we don't have a car. We're going to have to wait for someone to come and get us" I say rubbing my head. Nash starts laughing and Cameron smiles to himself, looking down

"what, please tell me what's so god damn funny" I say throwing my hands up in the air. Nash points behind me and I turn around and see Shawn leaning against his car looking at me like I just came out of a mental hospital

"well, thanks for telling me" I mumble walking towards his car. I get into the back seat without saying anything and stare out the window. Everyone eventually gets in with Cameron in the front and me and Nash in the back. Shawn starts driving back towards the house as I feel my phone buzz in my pocket. I look at it and see its from Nash

N: you alright?

I look at him and see he's now looking out the window

Me: Yeah, I'm just tired

N: you sure?

I look at him and see he's already looking at me with a raised eye brow

Me: yeah, I'm fine 🙂

I see him go to type, but I guess he decides against it because he locks his phone and goes to look out the window. We continue to drive in silence until we pull into the drive way of the house. I get out and start to walk up to the front door when someone grabs my wrist pulling me back into a hard chest

"what's wrong" he says. I turn around and look up at him

"nothing" I say smiling up at him. He leans closer and gently kisses my lips.

"you sure?" he says after pulling away. I nod, making him smile

"alright, well, you want to go by your moms now?" he says, I open my eyes wide and groan

"oh, shit I forgot about that. she might be at work, let me text her" I say pulling out my phone, I text her and lock my phone. Shawn and I walk inside and into the living room where everyone else was

"you look so happy" Amanda says referring to me. I roll my eyes and shrug

"I'm just tired" I say. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, I pull It out and see that my mom's calling. I smile at my phone and press answer

Me: Hey mom

Mom: Hey sweetie, I'm at work right now, but I have tomorrow off, you should come tomorrow and all of us can go out to lunch or something before you guys leave.

Me: I'd love to, but by all of us do you mean all of us?

Mom: Of course, I do, I'm not just going to invite one of my kids and not invite the rest of them. Who do I look like?

Me: okay, where we going to go?

Mom: I was thinking Longhorn? Or something I don't care, but I got to go, I'll call you tomorrow and see where everyone wants to go, I love you

Me: I love you too mom, have fun, Bye

I put my phone back in my phone and chuckle

"what's so funny" Shawn says to me, I look around and see everyone's eyes were on me

"nothing, my mom invited us to lunch tomorrow since it's our last day. And she called you all her kids. She was like 'I'm not just going to invite one of my kids and not invite the rest of them, who do I look like'" I say shrugging.

"I'm obviously her favorite child though" Cameron says whipping his imaginary hair. I grunt and look away

"uh no its obviously me" Shawn says next to me. making me laugh even harder

"can you all just shut the fuck up, and face the facts that I'm her favorite" Amanda says smirking at me. I shrug and nod

"that's probably true" I say making Cameron roll his eyes

"I guess we'll just have to figure this out tomorrow now wont we" I say walking away from everyone arguing

"where you going" Nash says.

"okay, I'm going to bed, hearing Cameron scream ow 500 times today has drained my energy" I say going to walk up the stairs

"LOVE YOU MEREDITH" I hear Cameron scream

"I LOVE YOU TOO CAMERON" I scream back.

"IF Y'ALL HAVE SEX TONIGHT, PLEASE FUCKING BE QUIET AND USE PROTECTION" Matthew screams.

"I'm still standing right here" I hear Shawn say before I walk the rest of the way up the stairs and into my room. I change into a pair of sweatpants and Shawn's sweatshirt before jumping into my loving bed.

right as I'm about to fall asleep the door opens and Shawn comes running in and jumps on top of me

"what the fuck was that for" I say as he gets under the blanket

"I know you did not think you were about to fall asleep without me" he says pulling me closer to him. I smile and groggily roll my eyes

"you're lucky I love you" I mumble turning away from him.

"yes, I know I'm the luckiest guy alive, now go to sleep, you sound like death" he says. I was about to protest when he shushes me and put

"go to sleep" he says running his fingers through my hair. I slightly nod. He continues to rub my head as I slowly fall asleep.
