*Meredith's P.O.V*

"okay baby, you ready?" Shawn says to me as he grabs my hand, were about to leave and go ice skating.

"yeah lets go" I say and grab my sweater.

honestly. things have gotten a lot better since we've been here. we've been at the cabin for a week now and I honestly don't ever want to leave.

"you know, we can stay here as long as we want but eventually Amanda's going to start missing you" he laughs and holds open the door for me.

"yeah I know. I just don't want to ever leave. I love it here and its so amazing. I just wish it could just be me and you. but I love Amanda and the rest of them and honestly I feel like if we never came back. Amanda would eventually find us" I mumble.

"yeah I know baby. one day though I really want it to be just us" he grabs my hand. we walk out to the car and he holds the door open.

"thanks" I laugh and get in. he closes the door and runs to his side and gets in.

"lets listen to the radio" he says and smirks.

"uhm okay" I laugh and lean back.

"and now next on 96.1, Shawn mendes with life of the party" the man on the radio says. I gasp and look at Shawn to see him already looking at me.

"Shawn stop this isn't real" I say turning up the radio. I listen to the music before Shawns angelic voice starts singing a song ive never heard. we sit in silence until the song is over. once its over and the commericals start. i turn it down and lean back

"Shawn fucking Mendes. what. was. that" i look at him.

"did..did you like it?" he bites his lip.

"of course i fucking liked it but why didnt you tell me your song was gonna be on the radio" I slap his arm. he laughs and shrugs.

"i dont know. i wanted it to be a surprised and i was nervous you wouldnt want to listen to it" he scratches the back of his neck. i lean over and kiss his cheek.

"it was amazing Shawn i am so so so fucking proud of you" I smile. feeling tears starting to form.

"oh baby are you gonna cry" he laughs. I wipe my tears and laugh

"shut up. I'm just so happy for you" I bite my lip and look down. I feel his hand go under my chin and lift my head

"none of this would be possible if it wasn't for you" he whispers. before giving me a quick kiss on the lips.

"i love you so much Shawn. you have changed my life so much and I'm so incredibly thankful for everything you've done for me" I say. 

"oh my god your going to make me cry stop. I love you too babygirl" he says.

"are we still going to the ice skating rink?" I ask him.

"if you want to" he says. I nod and smile.

"yes of course. but I don't want to be tackled by fans, like I love them a lot but I don't really want to take a lot of pictures today" I mumble.

"well. if you want. we can go get some food. and then go rent a movie or come back here and watch Netflix" he says.

"yeah that's fine. I'm sorry for changing your plans" I laugh

"don't worry about it baby" he says pulling out of the driveway.

"what do you want to eat baby girl?" he says.

"I don't care. something with a drive thru. I don't want to deal with people" I mumble. he rolls his eyes and laughs

"you're weird" he says pulling into taco bell. I smile and shake my head.

"fuck you" I roll my eyes

"when and where?" he smirks. I groan and cover my face.

"don't cover your face. what do you want" he says pulling up to the speaker box thing.

"what I usually get" I say. looking in the back seat.

"hey I found my book" I say jumping into the back. I lean down to grab my book when Shawn pulls up the window.

"your total is 13.78, hey youre cute" I hear the girl say. I sit up and look at the window. I'm guessing she couldn't see me since I was in the back.

"uh thanks I guess" Shawn says handing her the money

"heres your change. text me" she says handing out the change. I roll down my window and grab the recipt to see her number written at the bottom

"nah I don't think he will be texting you since he'll be in bed with me. but thanks for the offer sweetie" I smile and wave before Shawn drives up to the next window

"Meredithh" he groans rubbing his face

"what Shawn" I say getting back into the front seat.

"was all that really necessary" he says looking at me.

"yes actually it was. i don't need Barbie bitches looking at my man. i mean if you'd really like to talk to her then here, take her number. i say throwing the receipt and change on his lap. he doesn't say anything but turns to take the food

"thank you" he says and drives up and pulls into a parking lot.

"look at me. please" he says. i glance at him but then look down at my lap.

"Meredith, i don't want anyone but you. you are everything to me, you are the girl i see in my future. the girl i want to marry one day. the girl i want to start a family with one day. do you seriously think i would throw you away for some girl i met in a taco bell drive thru window? you're honestly an amazing girl and i will never, ever leave you for anyone. i love you Meredith. please don't be mad at me" he says. i shake my head. trying to stop the tears from falling

"Shawn I'm sorry. it just bothers me because i know there is way better girls out there and i don't want to lose you" i mumble.

"there isn't better. you can think there is but in reality. there isn't" he says grabbing my hand. i smile and lean over to kiss his lips.

"thank you. for dealing with my stupid ass" i laugh and wipe my tears.

"you're not stupid. maybe dumb, but not stupid" he says. i roll my eyes and grab the bag of food

"whatever" i laugh grabbing my food. he starts driving back to the cabin.

"I'm really glad you've stuck around this long" i say. looking at shawn to see him smile.

"i wouldn't want to have spent the time with anyone else"

oh god don't hate me. I know i've been gone for a long time. I just let life get me. ill try to be more active.

should I end this book and start a new one?

should I continue this book and end unforgettable?

should I end them both and start all new ones?

should I just not write at all?

just let me know because I'm struggling!

and honestly I know some people get mad about the i's being lowercase but I'm to last to go back and fix them all in this chapter so SORRY!
