fast forward 2 weeks
Meredith's P.O.V
Shawn and Amanda has visited me every day for the past 2 weeks.. its so hard to see them because i know they haven't been sleeping. i learned that i can leave the hospital room but no one can see me. i can't wait to get out of this thing.. i know it hurts the guys more to see me like this then it would to see me dead.. i can feel them losing hope.. i pray to god. to show me a sign that its worth living.. that its worth to see the love of my life and my best friend slowly give up...
i'm currently sitting on the floor waiting for the daily visits from Shawn and Amanda. that is until i feel a very very strong pull on my body.
this is it i'm dying
i let myself get pulled into this white room. i see a couch with a lady sitting on it
"where am i" I ask the lady
"My name is Nevaeh.. and i'm here to tell you that your time is here" She smiles brightly at me. i look down and start to tear up.
"i don't want to leave Shawn and Amanda and the rest of guys though" i say through my tears.
"oh no honey. its your time to go back to the real world. have fun. and be careful" She says and i feel that strong pull come again. i let it take me and the next thing i know i'm back in my body laying on that uncomfortable bed. i groan and hear a gasp next to me
"Miss. Smith. thank goodness your awake. let me go get the doctor" A nurse says before running out the door. I sit up slowly and look around. These lights are really bright. i hear sniffling before i see Amanda and Shawn come in looking at the ground. they don't even notice i'm awake until Amanda looks at me. i slightly smile at her
"MEREDITH OH MY GOD YOUR AWAKE" She screams and that makes Shawn's head shoot up. he smiles big and they run over to me
"hi" i say barley over a whisper. the doctor comes in and smiles
"its a miracle that your awake Meredith" He smiles. i slightly smile back
"were gonna have to do some test but you should be free to go later today. he says before walking out the door.
"Baby girl i missed you so much" Shawn says grabbing my hand. i smile at him
"i missed you too Shawn"
after a couple long hours the doctors finally let me go. i change into clothes that Amanda brought and i walk slowly to Shawn. he helps me walk to the cab and i get in. they get in behind me and we drive back to the hotel.
"did you tell any of the guys that i'm awake" i ask. they look at each other and laugh
"no we kinda forgot about them" Shawn says scratching the back of his neck.
"i wanna surprise them anyways" i smile and out my head on Shawn's shoulder
"i am so glad you are here with me baby girl" he says gently kissing my forehead. i smile as we pull up to the hotel.
"alright so you cant walk up the stairs by yourself. do you want me to carry you? or can you last riding the elevator?" Shawn says looking me in the eyes
"i can ride the elevator" i say interlacing our fingers. he smiles and we walk into the lobby. we go into the elevator and press the 5 button. i impatiently wait for it to stop
did i mention how much i hate elevators?
once it finally stops. we walk down to the rooms. I can hear everybody in one room. Shawn uses a key card to open the door and i walk inside first
"look who finally decided to wake up" Amanda smirks
"MEREDITH OH MY GOD" Matthew screams jumping up and embracing me in a hug. He is followed by 8 other guys who embrace me in a hug one at a time. being very careful not to hurt me.
"i missed you guys so much" i say smiling at them
"we missed you too" Cameron says speaking for everyone
"well what did i miss?" i say plopping down on the couch
"well um, we bought a house. for all of us to live in when we get back to California" Jack says smiling
