~Pizza~ (chapter 31)

"You know I hate you right" I say finishing my ice cream.

"yeah. I do. but we need to get back to your house. Nash just texted me and said Shawn's freaking out" he says standing up. we all run out to the car and get In. we race back to my house. before Cameron can even park the car I jump out and run inside.

but what I saw is something I didn't think i'd ever see

I look around. I see Shawn curled up in a ball and the guys kinda just standing there awkwardly trying to comfort him

"Amanda. take all the guys and bring them upstairs to my room. please" I whisper to her. She nods and motions all the guys. they follow her up the stairs. once I hear the door click. I turn back around and see Shawn now has his back towards me on the floor.

"Shawn.. what are you doing" I ask walking up to him. He doesn't say anything but turns around slightly. I can see part of his face. it looks like he's been crying. and is that a bruise?

"what the hell happened to you." I ask sitting down next to him. I turn him around more so he's laying on my lap. I see a big. ass. bruise. on his cheek

"Shawn Peter Raul Mendes you better tell me who punched you because I'm not afraid to go up there and question every single one of those guys up there" I say gently running my fingers through his hair

"Aaron." He mumbles. I look at him confused. There is no way he did this.

"Shawn baby please stop crying" I mumble wiping the tears off his cheeks. being very careful not to hurt him even more

"I hurt you.. you probably hate me now. I wasn't there to protect you.. oh my god Meredith I am so sorry" he says covering his face with his hands. I look away. trying to control my tears before I speak

"Shawn.. there was nothing you could have done to stop it.." I whisper . he uncovers his head before he sits up and turns around facing me.

"I'm sorry.. but.. Meredith I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore.." he says looking down at his lap.

"I know you did not just say that. Shawn. I love you. more then you'll ever know. and I need you to understand that I'm not going to leave you over something this stupid" I say rubbing my thumb against his non-bruised cheek. he looks up at me and smiles

"I love you Meredith" He says pulling me into his lap.

"I love you too Shawn" i look him in the eyes. I put my head on his shoulder. we sit like that until Amanda and the guys come down

"I'm guessing everything is okay" Aaron mumbles. I stand up quickly and grab Aaron's arm

"Ill be back" I smile as I pull him outside

"okay listen before you say anything I know I shouldn't have punched him but I saw how hurt you were and I don't know I just didn't think before" he says really fast.

"no aaron. its fine. I know you weren't thinking and Shawn isn't even mad. just please. shut up" i laugh and hug him. he hugs back and sighs.

"alright. lets get back inside. I need to help Shawn take care of that bruise" I say laughing. we walk back inside and I motion Shawn to follow me into the kitchen. I hop onto the counter with a rag so I can actually reach his face. he stands in between my legs and I gently pat the rag against his face, he flinches and I pull my hand back

"sorry. I'm done" I say throwing the rag into the basket that was by the door.

"I really do love you. you do know that right" he whispers. I nod and kiss his lips. he kisses back and puts his arms around me and his hands on my back. I pull away and smile

"I want pizza" I mumble into his chest. he laughs and picks me up. we walk out and he drops me on the couch.

"im ordering pizza. what does everyone want" I say grabbing my phone and dialing pizza huts number. I hear a bunch of 'cheeses' and 'pepperoni's' and some 'I don't cares'.

"thank you for calling Pizza Hut. is this for delivery or pick up?" the lady says on the other end of the phone

"hi, this is for delivery, I need 3 large cheese pizzas, 3 large pepperoni pizza's and a large supreme pizza" I say. I hear her gasp and say something to someone next to her

"alright is that it?" she says

"no thats it" I say laughing

"alright your total is $75.25 your order will be ready in a hour or so" she says hanging up the phone

"I need 40 dollars because I only have 40 dollars cash and the total is 80" I say looking around. someone throws 2 20's at me, I grab them and put them with my 40.

"im not answering the door when they get here. so here Shawn you do it" I say handing him the money and curling up in a ball. he groans and takes it and lays on me.

"you have a really fluffy ass. it kinda feels like a pillow" he says smirking

"don't talk about my ass, its not yours" I mumble

"um. it kinda is" he says squeezing it. I squeal and fall off the couch. he laughs and shrugs

"jerk" I say as I put my head on Nash's leg who was sitting next to me.

DING DONG.

"ill get it. since y'all wanna be lazy" I say grabbing the money out of Shawn's hand. I walk to the door and open it.

"You said It was $70.25?" I say looking down at the money

"Meredith?" I hear the voice. the voice I haven't heard in months. My head shoots up.

"Jake?" I say backing up. I run into someones chest thats behind me. I turn around and see Cameron.

"give me the money" he says through his teeth. I hand him the money and he walks up to the door. he grabs the pizzas, throws the money at him and slams the door.

"oh Meredith" he says setting down the pizzas on the stairs and pulling me closer, I sob into his chest

"Shawn" Cameron yells. I hear him get up and run to us. I let go of Cameron and hug Shawn.

"babygirl. what happened" he says. I can't get anything out so Cameron talks for me

"Jakes a pizza man now" he says rubbing his head. Shawn tenses but doesn't say anything. I feel my knees grow weak before I almost fall. Luckily Shawn catches me and picks me up.

"im gonna take her to her room" he whispers to Cameron. he walks up the stairs and into my room. He sets me down on the bed and sits down next to me.

"Babygirl please calm down. its not good for you. especially since you just got out of a coma not even a week ago" he whispers. i turn so my backs facing him.

I don't want him to see me right now..

"do you want me to leave" he asks. I shake my head. he lays down next to me and plays with my hair. after I'm calmed down a bit he stands up

"I'm going to get you some pizza. what kind do you want" He asks

"peperoni" I say rubbing my eyes. he nods and walks out the door. I sit and stare at the ceiling until he gets back. after about 5 minutes he comes running back in the room.

"alright so I didn't know how much you wanted so I just brought up a whole pizza. Me and you can share it" he laughs handing me the box

"thank you Shawn. for everything" I say opening the box. he smiles and sits next to me.

"I would go to hell and back for you baby" he says grabbing a piece. I turn on the TV and go to Bolt. which I recorded like. a really long time ago.

"I like this movie" he says looking at me

"me too" i smile biting into my pizza.
"i'm gonna protect you. you know that right, no one will ever hurt you like that again." he says side hugging me. i smile at him and move over more so i'm basically on his lap.
"thank you Shawn, i love you" i say kissing his cheek. He smiles at me and we continue watching the movie
