"I like you so much, Wendy," Minhyuk said over the phone.

"I like you, too," Wendy replied. 

Minhyuk wasn't alone in the room. His members were there and so was Joy. They were all extremely happy for him, except Joy was a little sad. Maybe even a little jealous of Minhyuk. 

Her jealousy kicked in and she grabbed Minhyuk's phone. 

"Unnie! How are you? Do you miss me? I love you!" Joy quickly expressed. 

"Joy, I'm great. I miss you and I love you, too! Now can you put Minhyuk back on the phone?" Wendy responded. 

Joy returned the phone but pouted.

After Wendy and Minhyuk's long phone conversation about dates and dating, they ended, which felt like forever to Joy.

Joy confronted Minhyuk. 

"Do you truly like Wendy?" she questioned. 

"Of course," he answered.

"Will you treat her well?" she asked. 

"Definitely," he affirmed. 

"I'm sorry for taking the phone earlier without asking you. I just wanted to talk to Wendy," she stated. 

"I can tell. Who wouldn't, though? She's wonderful to talk to. Absolutely beautiful, inside and out. Very funny, too," he revealed. 

"Do you think you guys suit each other?" 

"I think so. We're both caring in a motherly way, joyful, and fun."

"Wendy's ideal type is someone like a father, though."

"Maybe she likes me then!" Eunkwang exclaimed as he stood up. He then chuckled. Minhyuk told him to sit down. 

"She seems to like me a lot and I also like her. Are you fine with our relationship?"

"I don't know. I'm not ready to see her grow up."

"You have a husband, Joy."

"But Wendy is so tiny and precious!"

"She is, isn't she? She is so adorable."

"You really do seem to like her."

"I really do. She makes me happy. My biggest wish is to make her happy, too."

"She deserves that. Thank you, Minhyuk."

"No problem. It's good how you're trying to look out for her. Do you approve of our relationship now?" 

"Partially. I will fully approve once I see how Wendy feels around you." 

"Alright. I'm planning on taking her out on a date."

"That's great!"

The Date

Minhyuk decided to take Wendy to a restaurant. He picked her up, making sure to open the car door for her and close it, being a total gentleman. 

When they arrived, he pulled the chair out for her to sit on and pushed it in. 

"You look stunning, Wendy."

"You look quite good yourself."

"Thanks. By the way, Joy really cares about you. She is probably evaluating me right now."

"Is that why she suddenly talked to me on your phone? And evaluating you as a boyfriend?"

"Yes and yes."

"This kid." She laughed. "I'll talk to her."

"Alright. Let's order now! I hope you enjoy the food here."

They finished their meal and Minhyuk paid even though Wendy wanted to split the bill in half. 

Minhyuk opened the door as they exited and the wind made Wendy shiver so Minhyuk placed his jacket on her. 

"You can keep the jacket if you want. It looks better on you." 

Wendy grabbed his hand.

"It's okay. I'll just steal one of your hoodies." She giggled. 

"I would allow that." He grinned. 

When they found the car in the parking lot, he opened the car door for her again and closed it. Then he drove her home.

Joy called Wendy and she picked up. 

"Unnie!"

"Hello Joy!"

"How was your date?"

"It was amazing. Minhyuk was tremendously chivalrous."

"Good."

"I heard you were trying to analyze Minhyuk to see if he was suitable for me."

"Maybe."

"Thank you, Joy. If you do feel uneasy about our relationship, you can tell me."

"I want to know how you feel about him. Do you really like him?"

"Yes. I think he's a great person."

"Okay. My answer is settled."

"What is it?"

"It will be revealed tomorrow."
