Meeting Minhyun for the first time was overwhelming for Wendy. He was just so unbelievably tall, handsome, and nice.
"Hello, Minhyun..." she greeted him awkwardly.
"Hi, Wendy."
"Nice to meet you, Minhyun. I look forward to working with you."
"As do I, Wendy."
All she could do was smile nervously. Even when she was looking at her cards! Minhyun noticed and chuckled, for Wendy was so adorable.
When they were on commerical break, Minhyun wanted to start a conversation with her.
"You did great, Wendy."
Wendy denied that compliment. "You're the one who did great. I was a nervous wreck."
"It's normal to be nervous. Even so, you managed to pull through."
His assurance brought Wendy at ease. She wasn't jittery anymore.
"Thank you for being so kind, Minhyun."
"Thank you for accepting the job. I can't imagine someone else being the special guest MC beside me."
"I like being by your side."
"I like it, too."
Wendy's eyes widened. Could it be? Can Minhyun be more than a co-host to her?
"After today I want to keep in touch with you."
"Cool. We can keep in touch through texts."
They traded phones momentarily to input their digits into each other's contacts. It was the perfect timing, as the commerical break ended and they needed to return to hosting.
Wendy was no longer nervous. She was comfortable due to her wonderful co-host.
