Sydney's POV

What the he'll is wrong with me?! Bakit hindi ako makalabas ng kwarto na ito?! Kanina pa ako actually gising pero hindi lang ako makalabas!

What if, nasalubong ko sya dyan?

What if, nabunggo ko sya?

What if, nandyan sya sa pinto pagkabukas ko?

Ugh! Ang daming what if na tumatakbo sa isip ko! What am I going to do!?

Someone knock at the door.

"Open." I said without even looking at the door. Nakatalikod ako malamang.

"Kain na." Narinig kong sambit nya. Tumango ako habang Hindi tumitingin sakanya. Narinig ko namang sumarado and pinto kaya humarap na ako.

I let out a heavy sigh.

Nag-ayos ako bago ako bumaba. Mahirap na no. Nakakahiya.

"Sydney, bakit and tagal mo sa taas? Bakit dati, Hindi ka na namin tawagin, bumababa ka na agad? What's the problem?" Tanong as akin ni Mama. I just smiled then sit on the chair.

"Nothing, Ma." I said habang hindi tumitingin kay Nathan. Buset. Bakit ba kasi nasa harapan ko sya?!

"Oo nga pala, we decided na mag-bonding tayo ngayon okay? Because, we've got a very good news!" Sambit ni Mama. Napatingin ako sakanya at napangiwi nalang ako. It's been a long time since I've seen that smile.

"What was it?" I asked curious.

"Secret muna," She said. Nag-pout ako saka pinagpatuloy and kinakain ko. Imunpisahan na nga nya, Hindi pa itutuloy. Mama naman~

Nasa mall ako ngayon, with my mother, of course. And Tita, and Nathan. 😒 Himala at hindi sumama sa barkada nya ngayon? Tss.

"What do you want, Sydney?" Tanong sa akin ni Mama habang pumipili ng damit para sa akin. Tumingin ako saglit sakanya.

"Nothing, Ma. Kung ano po and trip nyo, go." I said then turned my eyes on my cellphone.

She sigh. "I'll just buy you sandals." She said then hold my arm.

"Wh--- Where---Why?" I asked her. She just smiled and pulled me towards a shop of shoes.

OMG! Nakakatakot ah. Baka may mabasag, or mabangga ako. Ano ipang-babayad ko?

"Do you want this?" She asked me again.

"I don't wear a shoe with heals, Ma." I said. She pouted then put the shoe back on the rack.

"Okay then, what do you want?" She asked me.

"Uhm, can we go to the book store? I want to buy some books." I said to her. She smiled widely and pulled me to the store.

Hindi ako nakabili last time kasi sinusundan ako ni Nathan. But today, I can buy books na! Nag-salon kasi si Tita kaya sinamahan sya ni Nathan.

"I'll just go to the magazine section." Sabi ni Mama at tumakbo na. Napa-iling nalang ako at pumunta as books na halos teen fiction lahat.

I search and search to find a beautiful book.

Puro panget! I don't want the author!

Gusto ko, yung taglish. Not the pure English one. I sighed. Aalis na sana ako nang may mabangga akong book. Nalaglag yon kaya pinulot ko. I was about to return the book from the rack when I saw the title.
