Keeping Up

'Fever'

Selena's POV

Getting up the next day, I felt drowsy and dizzy. My nose was plugged, I had a headache and I felt like throwing up.

Sighing, I got out of bed and went into the small bathroom in the room we were staying in. I pulled out a thermometer from my suitcase and I stuck it under my tongue as I waited for the beep.

Finally it beeped and I pulled it out of my mouth and I had a very high fever.

Not knowing if I should wake up Justin, I walked back to the room and looked at Justin who was spread across the bed into a deep sleep and I felt bad to wake him up so I laid back down and hoped to get some rest.

Justin's POV

Waking up, I saw Selena next to me with her head all sweaty.

Was the room hot?

I checked the time and it read 11:43 AM so I got out of bed and woke up Selena.

She groaned and turned her back, pulling the covers over her head and going back to sleep.

"Babe, wake up. Why are you sweating?" I asked and she slowly got up.

"I have a fever." She sighed and looked down. She looked horrible and she looked really sick.

"Do you need a doctor or something?" I asked her and she shook her head.

"No. It's fine. It'll probably go away in a couple of days." She shrugged and removed the covers as she stood up.

Selena's POV

Getting out of bed, my legs felt wobbly and I felt like I couldn't carry myself so I fell back on the bed, sighing loudly.

"I can't move. I'm dizzy and weak." I sighed and Justin sat next to me.

"Are you sure you don't need a doctor Sel?" Justin asked me and I shook my head again.

"No, it's okay." I picked myself up and slowly walked to the bathroom, washing my face and getting dressed in pain and dizziness.

Walking back out the bathroom, I saw Justin sitting on the bed and staring at me.

"What?" My voice cracked all of a sudden.

"Sel, you seem really sick. Do you wanna go back home?" Justin asked.

"No, I don't want to ruin this vacation. Plus, we're in the middle of the ocean. I don't think we could go home." I laughed slightly but my laughs turned into coughs.

"Do you wanna go have breakfast with the others?" Justin pulled my body close to his where we were facing each other.

"Sure."

Me and Justin both walked out our room and found everybody hanging out on the sky deck.

"Finally. How long does it take to get ready? I'm hungry." Fredo groaned.

"Selena's sick Fredo." Justin said and Fredo stopped whining.

"Oh, what happened?" He asked me.

"I don't know. I woke up with a bad fever and my voice is all crackly." I struggled to say since my throat hurt.

"Aw baby I'm sorry." Demi squeezed me and I let go of her deathly hug.

"Can we just go eat?" I asked and they all nodded.

"Mason, stop it." Kendall hit Mason in the arm and they both started hitting each other at the table.
