This is the very first patisserie shop that I ever worked for so I still have a lot to learn and improve.

Dumaan ang ilang sandali at wala pa rin akong naiisip. Eh ano kung matipuno? Marami rin namang may mahabang buhok dyan! At ano naman kung siya iyon?

Padabog kong nilapag ang lapis sa lamesa. Tumayo ako at naglakad-lakad upang libangin ang sarili. I ended up standing in front of the mirror. Itinuko ko ang dalawang palad sa vanity table at pinagmasdan ang sarili. I slightly slapped my cheeks, bahagya itong namula.

Staring at that spot reminded me of the sweet, old times. That shove my chills away momentarily. The loud thumping inside my chest got replaced by sudden heaviness. I have been aching for years and any kind of pain reliever cannot just take the pain away.

I grabbed my phone from my bag and decided to text Benny instead. Whenever I feel lonely, we usually go out for a drink. At least somehow, part of my burdens leave me.

There is a little bar at the central part of the town and it has been our habit to go there and enjoy ourselves once in a while. Kapag walang masyadong gagawin sa café o kung ipapasara niya 'pag madalang ang customers.

To Benny:
Let's go grab some drinks!

It didn't take a while before she replied.

Benny:

I grinned. Sinasabi ko na nga bang mabilis itong sasang-ayon. We have been each other's company through good and bad days. Even if I am not in the mood to party and even if I'm tired, I always accompany Benny on her errands. Gan'on din naman siya sakin. She is helping me a lot lately which makes me so grateful. She never judged me for my choices and mistakes in the past. Alam din niyang medyo may attitude ako, pero hindi nya naman pinapansin yun.

I picked out a short, denim high-waisted shorts and a white halter top. I laced up my hair into a cute, messy bun. Benny often compliments me when I tie up my hair like that because it emphasizes my coffee hair along with its highlights. Its gleam looks artistic. I also put a little make up enough to make me look good. My phone beeped again.
