"Ms. Dᴇᴍᴇᴛᴇʀ, nandito na po 'yong mga bulaklak na bagong dala nina Señora!" nakangiting salubong ni Mary habang abala ako sa pagtatanggal ng petals n'ong mga pinitas kong rosas.

She put down the pot of new roses in front of me, my lips automatically twitched as my eyes widened with too much adoration.

"Where are we going to put all these? I want them placed where guests could easily see!" masigla kong sinabi.

"Sa may front yard na lang, Miss! Kukuha lang ako ng lalagyan n'ong mga paso."

"Hmm, good idea! Kailangan medyo mataas ang paglagyan para hindi madaling maabot ng mga batang bibisita rito."

Well, some of those people who come over bring their kids. Kapag ganoon, nagkukulong ako sa kwarto. Babysitting then wasn't my thing so I preferred locking myself in my room. I didn't want any kid ruining my day.

"Dem! Wanna go with us?" malapad ang ngising alok ni Ate Lily habang abala pa rin ako sa ginagawa.

"Where? Didn't Dad and Mom tell us not to leave the house today?" I bluntly replied without looking at her.

"We won't take long, don't worry! And Calvin's with us!" Hinawakan niya ang balikat ko at nilaparan pa ang ngiti.

"Saan naman kasi tayo pupunta?" inis kong tanong.

"Basta, sumama ka na lang. Iwanan mo na 'yan, I promise we will have so much fun!" she exclaimed, eyes were gleamering with excitement.

"Hmm, okay! You better make sure, Lily." maarte kong sinabi at umirap.

She nodded with a sweet smile plastering on her angelic face. "But first, we need to change our clothes. Come on!"

My curiosity ignited more. Kailangan pa ba'ng magpalit? Hinatak niya ako papasok sa mansyon kahit lito pa rin ako. She chose an outfit for me. I raised my eyebrow when I saw what she had chosen. A sheer, white, three-fourths polo, brown tight pants, ankled boots and a cow girl hat.

"Where exactly are we going, Lily?" I asked, annoyed.

Humalukipkip ako at tiningnan ang mga damit na nakalatag sa kama ko. I'd rather prefer wearing this dress, these were just so old-fashioned! Gosh!

Kinain niya ang distansya sa'ming dalawa at hinawakan ang magkabila kong balikat. She was few inches taller than me. I still needed to lift my chin when looking at her face. She was then twenty and I was seventeen.

"Sa farm!"

My jaw dropped to the floor, my eyes turned wider. Farm!?

"No! Hindi ako sasama." Paulit-ulit akong umiling. "Ano'ng gagawin natin d'on? Magpapakain ng mga hayop at mamimitas ng mga prutas? It will bore me to death, Lily! I'd rather stay here and spend my day surfing on the internet!" I said with pure disgust.

Humalakhak siya at pilit na inabot ang kamay ko. "It will be fun! Ayaw mo n'on? At least malalaman natin kung ano'ng ginagawa ng mga farmers! We will know how those hardworking people run their lives!"

"I'm not interested, Lily. I'd rather prefer knowing how Adam Levine's life goes!"

"Oh, come on. Nasa probinsya po tayo. We're supposed to enjoy the hidden beauty of the town!" giit pa niya.

"At ano'ng gagawin natin, maglilinis ng dumi ng mga kambing, kalabaw, kabayo or whatever kind of creature you can find in that place? That's gross! No freaking way." I scorned at her, she laughed harder.
