Stronger than Before 38:

Lyndon's POV:

"Are you dating that girl, Lyndon? And how is she related to the guy who fetched her here before?" Mom asked one morning. I don't know why they are all giving me a weird look – she, Dad, Len, Leo and Ems.

Dad seems like having a hard time he barely eat his food. Ipinagwalang bahala ko iyon at naupo sa tabi ni Emerald. Sa harap ko ay si Kuya Leo na nakatingin sa akin na parang may mali sa ginagawa ko.

"Lyndon," untag ni Mommy.

I sipped on my coffee. "Mother, her name's Herrica and yes, we're dating."

"Kung ganoon ay sino iyong sumundo sa kaniya rito noon?"

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ganoon na lang ang tensiyon sa mga mata nila nang mag-angat ako ng tingin para sagutin ang tanong ni Mommy.

"That's Draco, her cousin." Natahimik silang lahat. My mom stood up, breaking the silence as her chair grinds on the floor. "Lyndon, sumunod ka sa amin ng Daddy mo sa library." She said as she eyed my Dad. Tapos ay nauna na silang lumakas sa direksyon patungong library.

"What's happening?" but no one gave me an answer. Nalaman ko lang noong sumunod ako sa library kila Mommy. At first, I thought it was about Herrica but I was wrong.

My Dad was quiet all the time and it pains me to see my mother hurt because of Dad's past. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na hindi pala si Mom ang first love ni Dad at nagkataon lang na unang nabuntis si Mommy kaya siya ang pinakasalan.

Siguro, mayroon talagang mga bagay na akala mo ay perpekto pero hindi pala. May parents' relationship seems perfect but it has its own flaws. My brother, Len, looks so tamed but we know him better and there's Leo who looks like a badass but he's actually not. Ako lang ang normal kasi abnormal si Emerald.

Tulad sa isang relasyon, kung minsan akala natin nakita na natin ang para sa atin pero hindi pa rin pala. Just like Herrica and Scott. When I saw them for the first time, they looked perfect with each other but Scott's an ass for not taking good care of Herrica – for letting her slip away from him giving me a chance to have her.

 I don't believe in love at first sight. Basta noong makita ko si Herrica, gusto ko lang na makuha siya kay Scott. I don't think its love but when she left me on that pizza parlor because of Scott, para akong sinaksak.

I didn't bother hiding how angry I was during that time because I was actually waiting for her to say her sorry but a week has passed pero wala pa rin. I was so mad that I cannot eat not function properly. Kaya noong makita ko siyang kasama nila Leo and Eunice, pakiramdam ko ay noon lang ulit nag-function ng maayos ang katawan ko... ang isip ko. And I managed to blackmailed her. Isang bagay na hinding hindi ko pagsisisihan.

I waited until things became better for both of us.

We kissed, we cuddled. Pero hanggang doon lang. I don't want to touch her when I know for a fact that she's not ready yet. Pero noong siya na ang nagpahiwatig, humulagpos lahat ng pagpipigil ko na halos isang taong naipon sa loob ko – resulting to Kaius, my very own flesh and blood.
