EVAN POV

Where is he taking me? Evan thought as he sat in the front seat of his own car being driven by Connor. Connor would occasionally look over at him and smirk knowingly. He eventually pulled up to his house.

"Just a quick stop before we head to the real place. Ok? I'll be right back." Evan started panicking for no reason.

"C-can I come in with you?" He asked, trying to sound normal. Connor smiled warmly and rubbed the back of Evan's hand with his thumb.

"Sure you can." Evan smiled and got out of the car, following Connor into the house. Zoe and Alana sat on the couch, cuddling and watching The Office. Zoe looked up.

"Hey Evan!" She waved at him, smiling. "Oh and Connor. Wait a minute. Where the fUCK IS YOUR CAST?" Connor shrugged, grinning at her.

"He ripped it off." Evan explained. Zoe and Alana gaped at him as he waved the words away.

"Ev, could you stay here while I grab something from my room?"

"O-okay." Evan said, butterflies in his stomach. Connor smiled and went to his bedroom down the hall.

"So did you guys have sex?" Alana asked nonchalantly. Zoe struggled to keep a straight face. Evan felt himself turn red.

"Wh-what? No!" He said truthfully, horrified at the fact that it sounded like he was lying.

"Yeah okay...suuuuuure..." Zoe winked at him, making him blush even deeper.

"Honest!" He said, putting a hand over his heart and immediately regretting how dumb he probably looked when the girls laughed at him.

"But you guys definitely did." Came the smooth voice of Connor from behind him, making the other couple turn crimson. "C'mon babe. Ready to go?" Evan grinned and nodded.

As they got in the car, Evan tried to figure out what Connor had grabbed. He didn't see anything, though. Maybe he couldn't find it. He shrugged it off and didn't think much of it. Connor whistled a song while he drove.

"You're in a good m-mood." Evan pointed out, and Connor reached over and took his hand, rubbing the back of it with his thumb. They stopped at a small ice cream store labeled "A La Mode." Connor smiled and turned off the ignition.

"I love ice cream!" Evan said, overjoyed.

"I know, love." Connor laughed. "The first thing you do when you're hungry is check the freezer. You're not slick I see you." He playfully punched Evan's arm. The boys got out of the car and headed for the door. Evan held it open for Connor, who thanked him before walking it, followed by his boyfriend. The girl behind the counter looked up and smiled at Connor.

"Well hello again!" She said cheerfully.

"Hi, Martha. Is that a new sweatshirt?" He asked. Martha looked down at her unicorn sweatshirt and smiled.

"It sure is!" She laughed. "What can I do for you boys?" They placed their orders and sat at an empty table, licking their treats.

"This is awesome!" Evan squealed. "This is such a c-cool place thanks for bringing me!" Connor smirked and kissed him.

"That's not even the best part." He said, leaving Evan to wonder as he finished his ice cream.

"I can't eat anything else ever again." Evan groaned when he was done, patting his protruding stomach. "I'm so f-fat." He half-joked.

"You're beautiful is what you are." Connor said, looking at him lovingly. Evan blushed.

"Th-thanks." Evan managed.

Connor took Evan's hand across the table.

"Evan, I love you so much. You know that you are my favorite person?" He asked.

"Is it really true I'm your favorite person?" Evan questioned.

"Yeah. We're never not going to be a team. And I wanted to ask you, um..." Connor scratched the back of his head.

"Y-yes?" Evan asked anxiously. He's gonna break up with me I'm such a loser of course he's gonna break up with me he's gonna choose Jared I can believe I thought we were want to be I'm gonna end up all alone and I just...

His thoughts were cut off by Connor kissing him. His eyes widened at first and he melted into it, shutting his eyes. When they broke apart, Connor dug around in his pocket and pulled out two rings.

"So, um, these are promise rings and I was wondering if you would accept one? I don't know. You don't have to say yes. I know we've only known each other for a little bit but it feels like I've known you my entire life." Connor said, holding out a ring to Evan.

"Of course! Of course! Yes! I love you and I promise I'll stay true to you and only you. A life without you is not a life I'm interested in living." Evan said, taking the ring. It was silver and had the word Angel engraved on it.

Connor showed him his own promise ring. It looked the same, but it said Prince.

"Is it b-because you're my angel?" Evan questioned.

"And you're my prince." Connor finished. "I love you, Evan."

"I love you, too."
