Chapter 32: The Artist

     "Having fun princess?" Aria was flying side to side.

"Absolutely!" I smile widely, feeling the strong wind pass me as we glided above clouds.

     We far from the ground and I couldn't see Selwyn and Tristan anymore, they're missing the fun!

     "Princess, may I ask something?"

"Sure, what is it Aria?" I said as I lied my head on Aria's back, her skin quite soft, than others.

"Are you aware you're cursed?"

"How did you know?" I asked sitting up straight.

She slightly turned her head to look at me, "When I was healing you, I felt something strange."

"Oh," I said, "Can we not talk about it?"

"Sure, princess,"

     We flew quietly until I saw Paiderth flying towards us, as they got closer I saw Ninurta riding on her.

     "What are you doing here?" I asked.

     After meeting Ninurta and Paiderth in the sky, we all flew back down to where Tristan and Selwyn were.

     Selwyn explained everything, while I sat with Tristan on a log. Watching them talk from afar. It looks like their discussion ended and Ninurta was walking with Selwyn towards us. I didn't understand why Tristan insisted that Selwyn talk to Ninurta. But then again, they haven't been talking lately.

     "So, do you think Ninurta's going to scold me?" I asked sipping the tea I brought.

"You definitely are," he said and I sighed.

"Wish me luck," I said giving him the cup and he smiled at me.

     I stood up and started walking towards them, I placed a smile on my face, hoping it would make him smile, but Ninurta just had a blank look.

     "I'm so-"

     Ninurta brought me into a hug and I looked at Selwyn and he just shrugged.

     "I'm glad you're safe," he said pulling away, "May we?" Ninurta said towards Selwyn and he nodded walking towards Tristan.

"You're not mad?" I asked and he shook his head, "are you the same Ninurta I grew up with?" I said cupping his face and he glared at me, "okay, you are." I let go of his face, putting my hands on my sides.

"I'm not entirely okay with it, but for now, I'm just happy to know you're alive," he said and I nodded, "but I think you should come home with me."

"Ninurta, I'm not coming with you," I said.

"Well, I tried," he said and I'm shocked, what's with him?

"Tristan, Selwyn and Aria," he said looking towards them, "I live Elira in your care," he said looking at me smiling.

"Take care," he ruffled my hair and jogged towards Paiderth.

     I walk back to Tristan and Selwyn, feeling extremely confused.

     "What did you say to Ninurta?" I asked standing in front of Selwyn, crossing my arms.

"Just that you fainted fighting Aria," he said standing up, "Let's get going."

"But Ninurta was acting really weird and -"

     Selwyn placed his hand on my shoulder giving me a tight smile, I sighed and nodded.
