**George’s POV**
I turn around to go talk to Guinevere, Fred is nowhere in sight. The past few weeks she has been distant. I want to make sure everything is okay between us. I half hate Diggory for taking her away from me. Sure, I have Fred who I’m obviously close too, but it’s not the same. She’s like Fred, only I can tell her everything without her laughing at me. I miss our late night talks about everything from the weather to our latest problems.
I walk down a long corridor ignoring the nurses and their gossipy conversations with each other. Women, I think to myself. I try to remember what room Guinevere is in so I peak in the window and see Fred kissing Guinevere. This is a 'what the hell' moment. I stare in, almost livid. I don’t know why. Now I feel bad for Diggory. I want to punch Fred in the face. Sure he loves Guin, but does he deserve her, absolutely not.
Cedric walks up beside me and tries to open the door. “NO!” I exclaim trying to lead him away and spare him the heartache. Out of all of us, I think Cedric took her near death the worst. He did not once leave her side.
“Why,” Cedric asks suspiciously shoving me aside to peer in the window. At first he looks angry, but his expression softens and he just looks sad. My face mirrors his. “You love her too-,” he accuses lightly.
“No,” I say denying it. “She’s just a friend.”
“I see the way you look at her. I see how she looks at you. I see the way you’re always the first to defend her and how you are so over protective. I see it all because I am in love with her and that’s how I look at her. That’s why I always defend and protect her. But if I had to choose between you and him, he motions to Fred, I’d rather you have her.”
“That’s utterly ridiculous,” I say shaking my head defiantly.
“Right.” He says skeptically. “See ya.”
Great, more drama.
**Guinevere’s POV**
“Wow,” I say looking up at Fred. I sit up touching my lips.
“So this is what I have been missing.” He mumbles to himself grinning.
“I’ve missed this,” he admits. “I don’t mean kissing, although I can’t deny I love it. But I miss talking to you. I miss pranking with you. I miss detentions with you.”
“We haven’t had detentions since we figure out about the Marauder’s Map.” I tell him smirking.
“George and I gave it to Harry so he could sneak into Hogsmeade.” He tells me like it’s nothing.
I gape at him. “WH—what?” I stammer. Fred grins. “His needs are greater than ours.” He assures me. I shrug. I guess I don’t mind, I like Harry after all.
“Miss Mundt,” a nurse calls as she walks in, “you are being discharged. We want you on bed rest the next day or so and no going outside.” I nod showing that I understand her.
Fred helps me out of bed. I blush noticing I’m wearing a backless hospital gown that exposes my whole backside. I see Fred looking and I smack him. “What?” he asks innocently.
“You can fool your mom with that innocent look, but not me. I know you better than that.” I say smacking him. He flashes me another mischievous grin.
“So George and I have been inventing more products,” Fred tells me. “We want to open a shop in Diagon Ally when we graduate.” I smile. “That’s a great idea,” I tell him.
“We want you to be a part of it.” He adds slyly.
“And when did you decide this?” I retort rolling my eyes.
