**Guinevere’s POV**
“Guinevere!” Charlie screeches as I struggle back to my feet. He gently puts his strong hands under my arms and lifts my heavy body up. I struggle to keep the image out of my eyes but I know I won’t be able too. “Are you okay?” He asks worriedly.
“Yes.” I lie smoothly pretending to dust myself off. “The babies kicked.” I say walking towards the seventh floor leaving him behind to gape at me. I inhale deeply as I calm myself down. What I had seen only moments ago has disturbed me deeply. Dumbledore’s body lay in a heap of mangled limbs as the school stands around his body in shock and sorrow. Seeing the story behind it did not make it easier. I knew that dying was Dumbledore’s last request from Severus Snape but I still cannot believe the strongest part of our resistance is dead. Harry needs more guidance and it’s not like Snape can help out without being killed by either the Order or the Death Eaters. He would be a traitor to both. The only question that echoes through my mind is ‘when’.
“You walk fast for a pregnant woman.” Charlie laughs catching up to me. He wouldn’t be laughing if I told him about my vision. I, of course, cannot tell him because it could either cause or prevent this occurrence.
“I still haven’t forgiven you.” I tell him stubbornly. I mostly said it for a few moments of peace and quiet while he tries to think of a witty comeback. I can’t help but smile knowing he isn’t Fred and George who would see through me in an instant.
He sits in a chair in the hallway scowling at the ground. I smirk and turn the opposite direction to patrol the other part of the corridor. Suddenly, I feel a hand grab my arm and pull me though a slightly open door.
I stare up at Snape who has his index finger in front of his lips. I nod in understanding as he sighs and begins to speak quickly.
“I don’t have much time to explain, but I just need you to know that whatever happens here tonight, or in the near future, I am on your side. Take this—.” He says shoving a small rock in my hand. But before I can speak he continues. “Keep it with you at all times. Should I need help, it will burn in your pocket. When it does, hold it in your palm and apparate. It will take you straight to me.” I stare at the stone and back at him then nod.
“Good luck. And—thanks.” I say giving him one final look before I turn and make my way back into the corridor. I walk back to Charlie who is creeping his head around another hall. I gently tap on his shoulder. He jumps and presses his hand against his heart.
“Where have you been?” He exclaims. I roll my eyes and pretend I have been here the entire time. Finally he gives in and we make our way to the center of the seventh floor where it will be easier to see should something happen.
“So what are we going to do now?” Charlie asks staring suspiciously at the wall. I look up at him curiously.
“What--.” I ask looking at the wall and back at him.
“Nothing, just thought I seen something.” He replies still not taking his eyes from the wall. I roll my eyes and sit on the cold, hard floor. “You never answered my question.” He adds minutes later.
“Oh—well. I’m going to raise them. Mrs. Diggory already made their nursery. I’m taking a singing job with the Weird Sisters. It’s all undercover, so to speak. I can make a decent income without exposing myself to the public.” I tell him picking at my nails.
“What about me?” He asks a little bummed. I actually never even considered telling him until today.
“Oh—I don’t know. You can visit whenever.” I retort not really sure of what to say.
“Well I was hoping you and the triplets would move with me to Romania. I have a nice, four bedroom house with a large backyard. It would be the perfect place to raise our family.” Charlie tells me, eyes lighting up. I smile sheepishly at him.
“For someone who never wanted kids, or a family—or a relationship for that matter—you seem to have this all planned out.” I tell him laughing. He smiles at me.
“So you will move with me?” He asks ecstatically.
“No.” I reply. “I need to be here to help with the Order.” I add looking over my shoulder. Hermione and Ron are walking towards the portrait of the Fat Lady.
“No, you need to be with me—so we can raise our children together.” Charlie says stubbornly. I roll my eyes.
“I’m not sure your girlfriend would like me living there with our children. Not only that, if you’re so worried about us raising the kids together why don’t you stay here, with your family, until after the war is over?” I say as a loud noise erupts from the hall. Both Charlie and I look wildly around.
“What was that?” Hermione says running from the common room. Ron is at her heels. I shrug but as soon as I do, my eyes grow red.
“Hermione, Ron, go tell the Order to brace for an attack. They are coming!” I hear myself yell. I try to push the red from my eyes and brace myself for reality. It takes a minute for me to regain my composure but no sooner that I do, a large group of Death Eaters appear out of a gaping hole in the very wall Charlie eyed suspiciously only moments before.
