**Charlie’s POV**
I sit in the corner with dad. I can tell he is trying to pretend none of this is going on because I am as well. But the image of my brother and daughter cannot be unseen. It will haunt my mind forever.
Thirty minutes of silence goes by. I see dad looking at me out of the corner of my eye. “What?” I ask in mock curiosity.
“You know, we all wanted you to see reason and get back together with Guinevere. Will you?” He asks. I can tell the question had been burning on his tongue.
It’s hard for me to answer. Of course if he knew that Guinevere is pregnant with Fred’s child, maybe he wouldn’t expect me to answer. But for some reason, I cannot hurt her. I cannot tell my father.
“Here.” George says handing me a piece of parchment. The distraction from dad is perfect.
“We will talk about this later.” He says squeezing my shoulder before walking off to be with mum. George takes a seat by me.
“Read it.” He demands.
I unfold the parchment.
“Charlie,
I know that since you came into Guinevere’s life we have had some mixed feelings towards one another. For that I am sorry. My time with her has long been over. I am sorry I refused to believe that before now. But as I watch her sleep, I know she is troubled. I know that I will not come out of this fight alive. I have seen the vision in her dreams.
We both know that Guinevere is pregnant with my child. But love and raise it as if it were really yours. We both know it should have been. Please take care of her because if I have to lose her to another man, I’m glad it’s you.
I know what we did was wrong, regardless of your decisions, or I guess lack thereof. Don’t hold it against her. All I ask is that this secret remains between you, George, Bill and I will take it to my grave. Yes, pun intended.
Take care of Guinevere. That is my last wish.
-Fred”
“Making puns in a letter like this.” I laugh wiping the tears from my eyes. “This is Fred. Did you know what this was about?” I ask George.
“He made me promise I wouldn’t read it.”
I hand the letter to George. He eagerly reads it.
"Wow," he exclaims handing it back to me. "This will be interesting."
**Guinevere's POV**
I wake up grasping my head. I cannot remember anything that has happened. I look around only to see our dead and wounded. That’s all it takes to remember. My heart aches. I want to beg for relief, or for this to be some sort of nightmare.
My life, what has it come to?
I shake my head. No, I think to myself. I have to help. This battle needs to be won.
I stand up ignoring the dizziness and every part of me that wants to give up.
"Guinevere," Ginny states as she grabs my arm. Something is going on outside.” We follow the entire force of our army out to the courtyard. Voldemort's forces are approaching. The look of satisfaction gives both Ginny and I goose bumps.
"HARRY POTTER IS DEAD!" Voldemort announces happily. All of the hope in the courtyard is quickly extinguished.
