**Guinevere’s POV**

“Hermione, go get some sleep.” I say yawning as we obsessively search through book upon book.  She tiredly rubs her eyes before saying, “I’m not tired.”

We sit in silence for another hour as we pour over books. The last few days we have done nothing research ways to reverse Bellatrix’s curse. The whole family is helping, including Mr. and Mrs. Diggory. Fred and George even shut down the shop until further notice.

I push the last book in our large pile aside as I sit back in my chair feeling hopeless. “We will find a way to stop this.” Hermione reassures me. I nod choking back tears as I glance down to my ever growing stomach. “They are due any day now—do you think Charlie will wake up in time?” I ask knowing she had no clue, I just needed reassurance. “Yea, I’m sure he will.”

“I’ll deliver the baby.” Fred offers grinning. I roll my eyes and grab a book from him. Hermione laughs but almost instantly a look of understanding runs across her face.

“Oh my god, why didn’t I see this before?” She asks herself running from the room. I gape at Fred and George as they look confused but run after her.

I hear the door slam but no sooner do I hear it creak back open. Mom and dad weren’t due back for another few hours—everyone else went with them to help set up for Dumbledore’s funeral.

I creep downstairs to see a small, dark haired girl looking around the living room.

“Can I help you?” I ask pointing my wand at her. She shudders and raises her hands quickly in the air.

“I’m not here to cause any trouble. I’m looking for Charlie Weasley. Is he here?” She asks quickly.

“Yes,” I reply slowly, “what business do you have with him?” I ask suspiciously.

“Oh, I am his—erm—girlfriend. You must be his sister.” She tells me with an immense look of relief. I frown at her and start to speak when I feel a hand tap me on the shoulder.

“Charlie is upstairs; he’s injured and has been unconscious for quite some time now. Guinevere, may I speak to you in the kitchen?” Bill asks. I nod still trying to piece everything together. I follow Bill into the kitchen and look at him expectantly.

“Her name is Vanessa. She was Charlie’s—friend—for a long time. She’s always had something for him but you know how Charlie is—well was—until he met you. She’s always stuck by his side waiting for him to commit to her and well—well I think we should let Charlie end it himself.” He tells me obviously preparing for my wrath, but for some reason, I don’t feel any, I mostly feel sorry for her and how ridiculous she will feel when she finds out. “I’m sorry I had to spring this on you with everything going on with the babies.” He adds sympathetically. I just nod and walk off.  “I need to give Charlie his sponge bath.”

“Wait—do the others know about this?” I ask turning back to face him. I cringe as one of the babies’ kick.

“Yes—well she wrote a few days ago. We just didn’t want to stress you more.” He tells me guiltily.

“So did your entire family know her?” I ask curiously. Bill nods.

“I went to school with her. Charlie never brought her home to meet the family though. So I suppose they just know of her.” He adds right before Vanessa walks back down the stairs.

“Can someone explain what happened to him?” She asks worriedly. I raise my eyebrows wanting to tell her the truth but Bill shoos me from the room to take care of Charlie while he explains.
