I stare out to where Cedric was standing just seconds ago. I feel Fred’s hand on my shoulder.

“Go,” he tells me with an encouraging smile. I gape at him in shock. “Before I change my mind and decide I can’t give you up.”

I run to Cedric’s house, not bothering to mull over what Fred had just done. It’s late and I don’t want to wake his parents, although I’m sure they love me enough to not mind. I stare at his front door gathering the courage to knock. I have no idea what to say.

“Why are you here?” Cedric asks coming up from behind.

“Gee, I don’t know.” I reply sarcastically. “Considering I just got better, I figured you would show some mercy.”

Cedric looks down at his feet. I walk to him, closing all distance between us. “Look at me.” I say softly. He looks up. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” He replies nearly inaudible. “I didn’t mean what I said earlier. It’s just these past few weeks have been so stressful and hard. I never thought I would be jealous of your best friend but he seemed to be the only one you had eyes for.”

I try not laugh and I know Cedric sees this. “I know, stupid huh.” He tells me smiling.

“Definitely.” I reply pretending to gag. “Friends, nothing more.”

“So what happened to you and Fred? He let you come?” Cedric asks curiously.

“Yes.” I say simply, shock still lingering on my face. “He told me to chase after you. I assume he wants to salvage our friendship and me to be happy.”

“Will you be happy with me?” He asks wrapping me in his arms.

“Only with you,” I tell him. “You are mine and only mine.”

“As you are mine.” He mumbles as he places his lips on mine.

It is now the day before we go back to Hogwarts. Ginny and I are sitting on my bed singing Barbie Girl and Candy man by Aqua; they were the most obnoxious songs we could find. For the past week we have been prancing around the house in putrid pink clothing and huge bubble gum pink sunglasses singing. Dad seems to think it is entertaining but mom shoots daggers at us. (Oh yea, they became mom and dad when I regained my memory. It just slipped out and felt right. It made them really happy.) I think we are annoying Harry, Ron and Hermione which makes it all the more fun. Fred and George get a kick out of it although I think it is because they haven’t seen me this carefree, well ever.

**Fred’s POV**

School started about a month ago. Guinevere has been a totally different person. She seems happier than I have ever seen her. It makes you happy just seeing it. She and Cedric rarely leave each other’s side. You would think it would annoy me, but he’s not that bad. And he takes good care of Guin. Guinevere and I have rebuilt our friendship. Things are pretty normal with us. She assists in pranks and new ideas for the joke shop we will run after we finish school.

It is two days before Halloween and we have got word that two other schools will be coming to stay with us for the year. The entire castle is in the courtyards awaiting their arrival, but in the meantime Guinevere is putting on a show. In case you didn’t already get this, since the accident she has been very outgoing. Last year she was horribly unpopular and now everybody seems to love her. She doesn’t seem very comfortable with all of the attention but deals with it just the same. It’s a rather confusing situation.

Guinevere is standing on top of a bench singing and dancing slightly provocatively. Her long, dark hair is going wild as she dances. I can only imagine mums face if she was here. I smile. I stand in the front of the crowd hearing Guinevere sing:
