**Fred’s POV**

“I thought you were going to break off your engagement with Verity and try to win Guin back?” Mum comments looking out the window at Charlie and Guin. They are sitting under the tree reading together.  I come behind mum to observe further.

“I was, but she has just seemed so happy with the way things have been lately.” I comment sighing. Mum smiles and pats my cheek.

“I’m surprised she took George getting married so well. She took it better than me and your dad!” Mum tells me. She seems to be contemplating something. “Do you think it has to do with Charlie being here?” She asks me curiously. I shrug.

“I never really thought about it before. They are always together. And now that I think about it, I find it odd that he has decided to stay here until the war is over. There is no telling how long that will be!” I say pretty stunned by my own words.

“My word, he is what—seven years older than she is!” Mum says exasperated. “He should know better!”

“Oh, Molly!” Dad chuckles. “Seems like all our boys are entranced with her beauty. At least maybe she will settle him down.” I look at mum and she just continues to look out at them.

“At least they look happy.” She comments before leaving the kitchen sobbing. Dad looks after mum chuckling.

“I guess the fire helped us out in the end.” Dad tells me making conversation as he throws the Daily Prophet into the trash. In case you are wondering, after the fire we restored the house and added an extra floor. Bill, Charlie, and Guin now have their own rooms when staying here.

“I would have to say so.” I reply taking a sip of coffee. “I have to go open the shop. See you at dinner.” I tell dad right before I apparate.

**Guinevere’s POV**

Two months have passed since Christmas and it is now finally spring. The crisp, clean air is so refreshing. I find myself hidden with Charlie in the field wrapped in one another’s embrace most of the time. Our blossoming relationship has become more serious and it has become more and more difficult to keep it secret, although I think some are wising up.

“I like this one.” I tell Charlie pointing at a shiny, bright pink dragon. He chuckles softly in my ear as he slyly kisses it. I lean into his kiss as he starts to whisper in my ear.

“I want you to come to Romania with me after the war. I can teach you all about dragons.” He tells me temptingly. I smirk

“Why would I want to do that?” I tease as his runs his fingers along my shoulder. I look back into his eyes as he smiles at me.

“I guess you will have to wait and see.” He muses as his kisses my shoulder blade.

“GUINEVERE, CHARLIE, THE MEETING IS ABOUT TO START!” Dad bellows through the open window. Charlie throws aside his book on dragons and helps me off the soft grass. He holds my hand until we go through the back door and take a seat at the table. Kingsley, Tonks, Lupin, Snape, and of course the Weasley’s are all present.

“You are looking very healthy. I was worried that you would never get it back.” Snape comments from across the table. I subconsciously hold out my wrist and examine the ‘blood traitor’ scar Bellatrix left on me. I see Charlie looking at it as well from the corner of my eye. I quickly hide my arm under the table.

“Yes, I have been feeling much better.” I reply forcing a smile. He nods and continues with the Order meeting.

“Guinevere, you need to be alert. A rumor has been spread that you survived the fire and the Dark Lord has Death Eaters actively searching for you. I don’t think it’s safe for you to stay here without being disguised and protective charms surrounding the house.” He tells me solemnly. I feel myself shudder. Charlie grabs my hand a squeezes it. “Voldemort is determined to find you and kill you.”
