Chapter Sixty

The Mayor's Threat

"Huh, so that's why it's called a Dojo" I spoke sitting in the passenger seat of Cyblows Jeep. The car sat just outside of the entrance to Master Finns Dojo. The Dojo was located near the top of the tallest mountain in the Fallen Dimension, it was cold up here, there was snow all around us, but the Dojo itself seemed to be a warm spot since it had greenery growing over the walls.

The structure of the walls itself appeared to be very east asian inspired, the walls had red umbrella like roofs.

"Yeah, Master Finns Dojo is pretty cool looking. The craziest part is the location, the mountain itself is only maybe a dozen miles away from the edge" Cyblow spoke still sitting in the driver's seat.

One of the guards came out eariler, we told him we wanted to speak to Master Finn, and after realizing I was the criminal that Mayor Talon was after he agreed to let us in. We were simply waiting on him to open the gate.

"The edge?" I asked "you mean the Fallen Dimension isn't a world?"

Cyblow laughed and shook his head.

"Nah dude, the Dimension itself is pretty big sure, but it has a edge, basically the entire dimension is kept in a dome, the barrier is hard to miss when you get close to it but from a distance you can't see it, so I don't blame you for not figuring that one out" Cyblow spoke.

"Has anyone tried going under it? Do we know what's on the other side at all?" I asked.

Cyblow shook his head.

"Nope, no clue and we have tried going under it, the dome is more like a sphere, goes underground too. Even our lake is cut in half, kinda sucks for boating since you have a giant wall in the way, not to mention the Sea Serpents" Cyblow remarked as the gate doors for the Dojo swung open.

"Wait Sea what?" I asked in alarm.

Cyblow ignored me with a smile as he drove us into the base, once he parked the gate closed behind us and a woman walked to greet us.

"Hi, my name is Sarah, which one of you are Jayce?" Sarah asked looking between Cyblow and I.

"I'm Jayce" I spoke giving a slight grin.

"Alright then please follow me" Sarah spoke speaking directly to me. "As for you, please wait here patiently" Sarah spoke looking to Cyblow.

Cyblow shurgged his shoulders.

"Alright, whatever, I'm gonna look around for some sushi" Cyblow spoke walking away and towards what appeared to be some sort of market.

"Come with me" Sarah spoke leading me inside the largest tower structure in the Dojo.

We walked down the hallway, the walls were full of strange paintings, and framed weapons, everything from a reminton shotgun to a pair of numbchucks.

Sarah led me inside of a large, what almost appeared to be a old throne room that was now filled with blue mats placed along the floor, this was used for training I would assume.

Sitting cross-legged on one of these mats with a book in his hands sat a middle aged man, he slightly resembled Mayor Talon but was thiner and had more black hair then grey on his head, and didn't appear to be balding at all.

As we approched he folded his book, set it on the ground and came to his feet.

"Are you the outlaw that I've heard so much about?" The man asked extending his hand to shake mine. I shook and then he began to sit back down.

"Please sit with me" he spoke, I did as he asked and sat down cross-legged same as him. "Sarah, you may leave us" the man politely ordered Sarah as she turned and walked out of the room.
