The Battle For Fallen Pt.1
Ace BaillieuWe had the planes laid down in the sandy fields outside of the Fight Pits. The trucks were started and ready to move out to the city to start the attack.
"Hey handsome" Natasha spoke up to me from the ground.
I climbed out of the cockpit and jumped down to hold her.
I pulled her into a kiss, both of us had huge grins across out faces.
"I thought I wouldn't get to see you again before this all started" I spoke just holding her in my arms.
"You can't get rid of me Edward, you should know that" Natasha smiled.
She let go of me and ran her long fingers along the bottom of my fighter.
"You are a pilot right?" She asked giving me a look of sarcasm.
I chuckled.
"I'm a great pilot, trust me. Although it has been awhile, I make confuse the Gas and the Brake" I joked.
"What did you say you called her again?" Natasha asked looking intensely at the plasma guns that Max added to it.
"Samantha, she's my good luck charm"
Natasha walked over to me and planted one final long lingering kiss on me.
"You don't need luck babe, you have magic" Natasha spoke raising a eyebrow.
I heard the sound of a car horn.
"Alright, get a room you two, we're moving out!" Jayce barked from the shotgun seat of a nearby truck.
"Gotta go kill some bad guys" Natasha smiled, I noticed her smile waver for a moment. What wasn't she telling me?
"You okay?" I asked.
Natasha nodded.
"It can wait until after" Natasha turned and ran towards the truck.
"Love you!" I shouted to her giving her a wave.
She blew me a kiss and mouthed the words "I love you too" She probably said them but I couldn't hear her over the sound of a dragon walking behind me.
I laughed as I turned back towards my fighter, and climbed back into the cockpit.
"What's it like dating a Witch?" Cyblow spoke to me over the communcation system.
I put on my helmet, and laughed.
"Good luck out there Cyblow" I spoke looking over to the dragon rider next to my fighter.
I started up the fighters engine and began to raise off the ground.
We were a go.
...
Charity Wilson
"I'm ready" I spoke taking a deep breath.
"And your sure your okay with going inside alone?" Shaun asked me from the pit.
Shaun, Fredrick and the other Knights stood around the edge of the huge zombie pit, holding twelve feet long sticks with slabs of cow meat on the end of them.
"It's easier to teleport one person in then multiple especially if I have to teleport a group of people out" Max spoke jumping up and down and shaking his arms next to his side.
He was warming up and prepping himself.
Sarah gave him a plastic bottle full of a blue liquid.
"What's that?" I asked as Max took the bottle and began to suck it back.
